this suckz!!! im about to throw that stupid ps3 controller at the wall, i think the PS button is burned so my ps3 is stuck in the middle of the process, and i cant go on with the download.

ive never had a problem with my ps2.

Booting up Swap Magic on a PS3 is worth a try because the Swap Magic CD/DVD is recognised as an original PS2 game. If the PS3 can boot up original PS2 games, then the chances of Swap Magic booting up on a PS3 are quite high.

It should recognise the disc and boot it up until it stops spinning and prompts you to do the swap. Problem is though, nobody knows how to swap discs on a PS3 yet. I doubt swapping is possible because the PS3 drive loads discs from a slot and not a tray.

I suspect that backups will need to be booted up on a PS3 either by using a hacked firmware (therefore no swapping of discs is required), or by installing a program on the PS3 Hard Drive that allows you to boot up games copied to the Hard Drive from a CD/DVD.
