I haven't even had 5 games on this yet; I'll need a while before I'm up to my usual standard (ridiculously amazing). Is Online play bareable? I've heard bad things.

I thought it was okay until I got beat by this cunt going a 100 mph & teleporting. I lose gracefully but not to cunts like that!

Well online seems to be improving, just try make sure you play someone with 3 bars. Really glad that mics work too, makes it all the more enjoyable. I'll most definitely be up for an online league of some sort.

I am still pursuing a good value 60gb ps3 bundle. I am pretty pissed off that the ps3+3 games deal on amazon has expired when it clearly said the deal closes at 30th Nov. this was for 369.99 . I was planning to get some money for my 13th birthday and splash out on this deal.

But now, I have found this good deal on (believe it or not) blockbuster:

What I found very annoying is that u cant click on these. Does this mean that they don't sell them online and I will have to go into the nearest store and ask them there.

I am very interested to the '60 Gb, FIFA 08 + 2 SELECTED GAMES for 349.99.

Does this seem a very respectable offer to u ps3 gamers?? and can u please say what deal u guys went for and can u post up a link with it in.

Basically, what i am looking for is:

60 gb console
Im not desperate for 2 wireless controllers, 1 will do for me at the mo.
3 games ( preferably either fifa08 or pes2008 and 2 of the release titles. f1 and resistance fall of man)

I went down to the nearest Blockbuster store and they had the deal up outside the shop and i felt quite confident thinking that they had loads in stock and I could buy one just after my 13th birhtday.

But I asked the thick and extremely fat woman working at the till and she says: "To be honest, you would be very lucky to get the 60gb bundle before christmas"

And then she said that they have loads of stock for the 40gb deal (console + any game for £309.99)

I am defiitely going to buy a 60gb console but now this deal is virtually impossible to get, what other deals is there out on the net that sell virtually the same deal but actually have loads of stock in?

I just over-reacted because i was a little annoyed that you posted up the same link that i posted up in my post. I am just itching and really annoyed that shops have really good deals out for xmas; yet they don't even have stock till next year.

I appreciate you helping me and would like it if other ps3 owners did the same, because i would love it to play online with u guys.

Would it be a good idea to buy one online from Amazon or eBay. If so, please help me find some good deals on these sites. I'm not thinking of bidding; just 'Buy it now' deals.

Just played my first PES2008 game online. It was the worst decision I have done in my life.

The ball was teleporting, I scored a goal and it was ruled a goal kick, my players were just running past the loose ball, I was getting my shots blocked by an invisible man...Awful.

Still managed to win 2-1 (should have been 3-1, but my third goal was a ruled a goal kick), but it really was not fun to play.

They really need to sort out that quickly. The person I played only had one bar (I had three), but that is still unacceptable. A huge let down.

That happened to me on normal play against my mate. :mellow: I scored a free-kick by smashing a low shot past the wall and it hit the back of the net and resulted in a goal-kick with the commentators saying it was miles over. :huh:

Can only assume theres a collision detection issue with the side netting.

Did either of you get a good look on the replay?

Yes, I looked at the full replay. Lampard was in the middle of the goal and hit it straight pass Reina into the net. If I was on the left or right, then maybe I would have thought that it may have just gone wide, hit the advertising boards and hit the outside back of the net. But I was in the centre and it definitely went it.

I had a similar experience online against my mate, only I got a corner from it. I shot straight at the keeper, who jumped backwards behind the line, with the ball slowly moving from behind the line back into play. I assumed I'd scored, but then a corner was given, despite the only two possibilities being a goal, or play continuing.

I then asked my mate today, and he said he saw the keeper palm it behind for a corner. :unsure:

Bizarre lag to say the least.
