Has a sort of Zone of the Enders feel to it which I actually enjoyed playing. I haven't played any other Amored Core games, ratings haven't helped. But this trailer is pretty impressive.

shitty couple of months for ps3 owners, i can't find a decent game to purchase. I am waiting for a game that will be very enjoyable both online and offline, but so far the best game is COD4 which i began to get bored of after playing it everyday for the past 2 months.

well neither am i, but i want something to keep me busy after i get back from work, and i've been playing games since i was 6 (i am 22 now), so it's something i enjoy doing a lot.
Anyone recommends any good dvds to buy instead? movies, tv shows i don't care.

tell me about it, far too expensive. But they had action figures for movies too, lord of the rings, pirates of the carribean, 300, even silence of the lambs which i don't really know why the hell would i buy anthony hopkins in a crazy jacket with blood dripping from his mouth. God of war was the one that got me most though.

There are a lot of good games out. Look at Play.com for them.

Just purchased a PS3 recently and I am enjoying it but my main gripe is communication. The headset thingy is gash and really sensitive plus no Private chat for when you are playing seperate games. Also on Warhawk and Unreal you have to hold in a button.

Positive points though, Drakes Fortune is class although I have finished it already. Still I really enjoyed it. Blu Ray is fucking nice too and with my new TV it is brilliant.

The online is free which is great but it still has a long way to go in this department.

Edit: Played the PES demo and it is gash on the PS3. Also is anybody in the know on how to run the PC using a HDTV as a monitor?

Sony last night unwrapped its latest firmware update for the Playstation 3 , bringing the console to version 2.17.

According to a post at the official Playstation blog, the new PS3 update 2.17 improves the “operating stability of some online PS3 titles.”

Interestingly PlayStation’s new PS3 update 2.17 was issued without any prior warning from Sony and very little specific information about the problems it is intended to fix or the software affected, although MotorStorm is thought to be one of the titles., reports Webuser.co.uk.

According to TechRadar “Sony tends to release new updates as soon as they’re ready, leading to regular, small updates. That contrasts with Microsoft, which only updates the Xbox 360 firmware every six months or so.”

Sony says that the only real changes in the new PS3 update 2.17 is that “the operating stability of some online PS3 titles has been improved”.

Yeah, I updated earlier. A load of shit really.

Surely by the end of this year we will have an in game XMB, I hate having to leave games just to read messages. This would also allow music to be played in game too, which would be great.
