I have the fat 60GB, and it's noisy as hell whenever there's a bit of heat around - my slim 360 is quiet though, compared to the loud old model.

My warranty is up on the PS3 now though, so if it dies I'll just get a slim, even though they don't have an SD card slot (I believe) which sucks.

They are outstanding models for all the extras but Sony made a loss on each model.

I've got an 80GB which I use as a media centre - although I have to use a USB hub for my PS3 to recognize my HTC phone, which is odd, it will not recognize it directly plugged.

I want to buy a PS3 slim but I can't bring myself to pay current prices.

Fuck sake Matt, stop being a faget, grow some balls and get a new one! I've told you numerous times that they're not worth the hassle any more, get a slim!

It's unreal how much quieter the Slims are. Barely makes a noise.

My slim was quiet until GT5. Since then it hag got noisier. Can only assume it was due to the frustration of the stupidly long install.

I still have my old 60gb (day one release I may add), I only use it for DVD's & PS2 fames now as the BR Drive is knackered. I did however take the plunge on the 250gb slim. Yeah, it's smaller & quieter, but I miss the SD slots for quick camera pic display (without having to find the appropriate USB lead), its PS2 compatibility & the additional USB slots.

Anyone know if there's plans to release an even newer build of the PS3?

I would hope it would come with an SD slot if it was the case - can always just copy photo's over with my MP3 player, but my PC doesn't want to recognise my phone's SD card, so whenever I want to put music on there, I use the PS3, so not having that option would suck balls.

Any new build will be a cheaper build with less features chap.

Got rid of Killzone3 because the I finished the story, dipped into the multiplayer and realised that BF:BC2 beats everything else hands down....still.

It's a shame, but I could see my copy of the game just sitting on the shelf collecting dust and losing value, so I traded it in and got Crysis 2 instead.

I've hardly played Killzone3 recently, still can't bring myself to get rid of it though. Can be great fun on the Mawlr Graveyard level.

How many of you are experiencing withdrawal symptoms due to the PSN being hacked?

I'm not that bothered. Ever since I've moved to my brother's place, I have barely played online (ISP problem -- it transmits data through satellite instead of fibre optics cable, which is a lagfest when playing online)

I've just been beasting Top Spin career mode, really. I wish they'd hurry up, I want to release my first LBP 2 level :( Though, when it does go back up, I'll probably leave it for a couple more days, because there will probably be a fury of new levels coming out as soon as PSN starts again.
