I don't think Jonno was having a dig at the PSN as I think he was implying that you wouldn't be guranteed entertainment with a QPR season ticket. I did read it in the same way as you first though so maybe I'm wrong.

Yes it was a dig at QPR, it seems to have backfired though, oh well.
Just picked up EDGE while in Birmingham as it had a Max Payne 3 cover story. 8 page spread, plenty of screenshots and details. I literally jizzed on the bus while flicking through it.
The story will have a lot of jumping back and forth between the action going on in "present" Brazil (with bald bearded max), Maxs first dealings in Brazil (full head of hear and still looking like old school max) and back to New York where we will find out how Max was forced out of the NYPD.
The same VA is back from the first two and he's been doing all the mo capping as well. The dialogue is apparently as brilliant as ever and Max Paynes trademark style of narration is still there:
The only disappointing thing for me is that the graphic novels between levels seems to have been dropped in favour of in game engine collages. Apparently they're still trying to get a motion comic book feel to it, but I liked the old school style.
This game needs to hurry up and come out. I'm expecting a massive media blow out at E3 and my moneys on October 2011 or May 2012.

Damn straight, I'm not going to miss a relegation season in the Premier league. We try to play football unlike some of the current elite so we're bound to take a tonking most weeks but I still wouldn't want to miss it.
Any update on PSN being restored? I heard it was tomorrow, is that still on?

As far as I know, it's tomorrow. As to what time.... no idea. Could be late evening USA time, so that would be early Wednesday morning for us. I'm just guessing though.
I don't want to turn this into football discussion, but I actually think QPR will have a decent season, then suffer 2nd season syndrome the next year.

Good point. Always been one of my big bug-bears with Sony's machine. The 360 updated take very little time in comparison.

Whilst I'm not look forward to the long update, myself, I can't complain about the free stuff. Sony have said that they'd give us a selection of free games over the next month, add that to the free games you can get on PSN+. So what if they only stay on your system for 1 month? Most downloadable games are fairly short, you're normally done with them within a month anyway.

Yakuza 4 is so epic. This shit needs to be made into a mega budget movie. The twists and turns and countless betrayals throughout the story make most movies and TV shows tame in comparison.
I'm on the last chapter, no idea what twists are coming in. Can't wait!

Having had both consoles, the only thing I would say the XBOX has in its favour is 1080p games, I can't understand why so few games are 1080p on the PS3.
