EDIT: Lots of new stuff is available, plenty of demos including infamous 2 (which I started to download before I left - it's a biggy though - 2.6gig), Red Faction, plus more. Can't wait for all the LA Noire stuff to come out, I think I'm gonna end up getting all of it, even though I've still to finish the main game, I'm only in vice.

That's good to hear. Is there a time limit on this free stuff? At the moment my internet is messed up and won't be able to handle any sort of downloading but hopefully when the BT engineer comes tomorrow it will get sorted. If he doesn't though, do I only have a month to take advantage of these free games to download?

As long as you download them before July 3rd, you keep them forever. It's only the things downloaded through PlayStation Plus that can expire, as the 2 out of 5 games offer is a separate entity.
