inFamous just seems to be another one of those games to me, nothing great at all. Gave up on it pretty quick though, so maybe I'm not giving it the time it deserves? But to be honest, I don't think any game should have to be an acquired taste so to speak. Regretting not getting LBP instead of it now.

That is my problem with most games. I won't even buy these long campaign games anymore. I bought Batman AA - thought it was absolutely stunning, love the comic book atmosphere, and got tired of finding ridiculous clues or having to follow an almost exact pattern to get through it. I think it is the patterning I am most bored with. Traded it in.

inFamous is wank in my opinion, didn't like it at all.

Dead Nation is great for an arcadey 'Dead Ops' style game, just a tad more realistic, if that's possible in a zombie game. I think it's great.

I'm still creaming over WipEout to be honest, having such fun with it.

Wipeout is a tilt pad control isn't it? Haven't had the chance to get into it.

I know you can turn motion sensor on for Wipeout, but I've only had the one race on it (8/8, baby!) and I used the analog stick.

...and to somewhat explain my 8th position, it took me 10 seconds to realise I wasn't supposed to accelerate with R2. ¬_¬

Three members of the infamous Anonymous "hacktivist" group have been arrested in Spain on charges of being involved in the recent devastating attack on the PlayStation Network, as well as for other unrelated cyber-attacks.

As Reuters reports, three unnamed suspects were arrested in three separate Spanish cities. All were described as being in their 30s. According to the report, Spanish police claim those arrested "were guilty of coordinated computer hacking attacks from a server set up in a house in Gijon in the north of Spain."

There's little else in the way of concrete details currently available, but we will update this story as further information develops.

No doubt they will all receive long stretches if proven guilty, the higher powers don't take kindly to these kinds of things. They'd have been better off going on a killing spree to be honest.

I've got Wipeout Fury HD and after at least ten races on Novice, the best I've done is 4th place.

I'm getting better!

I've managed to gold all of the first level on Expert - playing through the second now. The races are the hardest to win, because as is the case with games like this, it seems sometimes you're destined to finish 6th/7th no matter what you do.

Gave Wipeout a quick go. Didn't really enjoy it.

Yeah, it seemed only so,so. Really enjoyed the tilt pad control however. Wish GT5 was this way. Wipeout good for a free game, glad I didn't drop $50 on it.

I am glad to hear they caught some of those pud hackers.

I had a personal belief it was Anonymous that was responsible. Report says hackers may have been at the leadership of the group. They pulled so quickly away from the first service interruption hack that I felt alone pointed the finger at them. They discovered a treasure chest of information and couldn't help but exploit it. They were too quick to apologize to everyone at the denial of service attack that they wouldn't be messing with it anymore (supposedly not to hurt us users). Too quick to tell everyone they didn't do the big attack. Foiled.

Was WipEout ever $50? I mean, I've only ever seen it at about 14 quid on the store, at most.

I'm enjoying it, but it's ridiculously hard on Elite difficulty - it's probably because I was trying to get gold on elite for everything, before I unlock the better ships.

I guess I am glad I didn't drop $20 on it then. It is a nice free one that I see myself sneaking a quick run in here and there. I actually got just a second or two of motion sickness on my first race before I quickly acclimated. My wife walked in the room and said the same thing.

It seems that my PS3 only shows the yellow light if I turned the PS3 on for the first time during the day. So, overheating can be ruled out. I let the PS3 on overnight when downloading a huge patch for Burnout Paradise, and it survived.

Also, when playing LA Noire, the fan only go loud after about an hour of playing, which is much longer than before me getting the yellow light -- 15 minutes.

Sounds like a loose connection. You need to get the soldering iron out or invest in a new model I'm afraid.

I choose Wipeout and Dead Nation. I own Little Big Planet. Ratchet & Clank is not my cup of tea. And I see Infamous going cheap as chips in bargain bins these days.

I really enjoy the pick up n' play aspect of Dead Nation. It's a solid arcade shoot 'em up and a great outlet for those 20 minute periods before work, or while waiting for the missus to get ready.

It's also good for taking out some range.... just smash some zombie clowns over the head!

I was alerted earlier by Haribo that Streets of Rage 2 is available for free to download with psn plus and it appears to have an online co-op mode! Has anyone tried the online co-op?
