LOOK I own both consoles and I love them both. But overall, the 360 controller has much more precision to it, HOWEVER with a ps3 controller, you can react faster. For football games both can be good in different situations, but if you hate the trigger system so much, then get it on the 360. There are many instances where a 360 controller completely trashes the ps3 - RPG, open world games, DRIVING (mostly because the R2 is very uncomfortable compared to the RT).But I feel that for fast paced games, the ps3 controller works better.

As for a controller for ps3 looking like the 360, I honestly have never seen one. :)

I've never had an issue with the PS3 controller, I find it lighter, easier and more responsive with better battery time. Like I said, I've used both and found the transition to PS3 no problem despite being used to the Xbox360 controller ... I mean come on, its not rocket science.

It's nothing about me being unfamiliar with the playstation pad it's just that the 360 one is better all round.
Only pro's of the ps3 is it's battery is like a mobile phone so built in to the controller rather than a AA battery pack and the fine D-Pad, but with one step forward for the D-Pad, unfortunately the D-Pad has to take two back for being in the primary control position not getting used.

Another annoyance with the ps3 pad is the slightest little abuse and it turns into a rattle with shit loose inside it..

With Mak on this one. Been a PS owner and player a hell of a lot longer than 360 and I still love the PS pad d-pad, but the analogues on the 360 controller are better positioned and better shaped, also offer better control. The triggers have more 'feel' to them and again are a better shape. With the rechargeable battery packs, they also offer a decent play length.

I prefer the lighter weight of the PS pad, but like Mak said, that does make them a tad flimsy.

For Ist person shooters/RPG, or any game that relies heavily on analogue sticks for control, then the 360 pad is the one.

i can play every game with the ps3 pad - fighting, fps, adventure, football etc. i can ONLY play FPS games with the 360 controller.

ps3 pad is comfortable, light and responsive. the sticks feel better. it's far more easier to aim and kill people with the ps3 pad compared with 360.

i use the 360 pad for the pc because of comptability. it's fine for FPS games, but THATS IT.

Those triggers are based on xbox controllers for ps3 controllers, you don't really see ps3 trigger add ons for xbox controllers :laugh:

I like how light weight the ps3 controller is but for me it's too small.

God Of War Saga was recently released. I don't know why they didn't make the two GOW games from PSP into a bluray disk. Instead, buyers were given the codes to download them off PSN.
