Visit soccergamming and have a look at frenkies pitches. He's been doing textures since pes4 and hes started them now for pes5. All pitches in PES5 suck, visit here its a must:

from about pages 29 up is where all the pes5 textures are. He has released a stadium pack for download, but when you try and export them over the stadium bin files in the afs file, the game crashes. You have to add two numbers cos he's editing for ps2 and the ps2 and PC afs file are slightly different. So for example if Old trafford is 0992, then youll need to replace 0994 in the PC afs (but this does crash the game for me) The only way to make SOME of them work for PC is to firstly export lets say Highbury Day Rain to somewhere save on hardrive, then import frenkies highbury day fine over Highbury Day Rain in afs, then manually insert each bmp from Frenkies Day fine over the default day fine. Dont know why it doesnt just work when importing the whole file, but it just didnt for me. Ohh yeah dont forget to re-import (old)highbury Day Rain back over where you imported frenkies or game will crash. And then you have to work that method for Day fine, rain, snow etc, etc, We just got to wait untill Juice, Obocaman and all them figure out how to make SOLID editing tools for PES5, and then our lives will get a whole lot more exciting.

LoL I do agree with you guys, the default pitch textures and colours are rubbish, hopefully one day Konami will get their act together on this aspect.

I will be adding a tutorial shortly on how to change the pitch textures.

Well... Just go and edit the teams and make them play somewhere else. That's what I did and now I don't ever have to looki at that disgusting pitch ever again !
