points after game in ML?

Hello,

I am playing a ML now (div 2, with orginal playernames) and I noticed that after each game you get a kind of bonuspoints (%) for some players.

My question:
when does a player get points? (%)

Also a second question:
I read somewhere that you can boost up the skills of your players by giving them a training. Well, I gave my boys a training but I didn't get any extra points.. what did I wrong??

first question.. too long to answer and answered too many times.. maybe sum1 else can help ..

second thing.. to earn points in training you hafta do it in the off-season .. the players run drills etc. its different than during the season

It is because the players are constanltly improving their skills and once they reach 100% for a skill, that skill go ups by 1 point.

ok..so during a match I have to try to make a kind of passes, headers, volleys and lobs to make sure I reach as soon as possible 100% to get 1 point extra.... nice work of Konami....

I will give it a try in the offseason (the training)

Thanks for now!

I believe that players below the age of 26 will get an increase in their stats depending on how much you play them. After that age, their stats will slowly reduce until they retire.

Not sure about the training thing. If you play the training match for a couple of minutes a picture appears (can't remember what it looks like) and I think that means you've done something good or correct. Hmmmm.... any ideas?

26, seems a bit of a tender age for a player to stop learning, actually you are proberbly right, i just hope that the decrease in performance is slow over the next few years!

Zyg,

I thought that too but I started a ML with a friend this weekend with Inter and Davids stats were going up and yet in my ML with Roma Dacourts stats are going down? I think it also has to do with when they will peak? I think there is a screen somwhere that shows when they will hit there peak it could have something to do with that. Any ideas?

it depends on the player, Giggs is about 30 and he still able to gain points, you have to look at each individual player's growth charts

training during the season is not training, it's conditioning, it affects the form arrows, if most of your players are out of form, just play a conditioning match of about 30 seconds and your out of form players will now be green or normal form

ok.. i didnt knew this.. nice.

Training in offseason is great. You can earn quick a lot of points (%) per player..

Does anybody has a translation of this offseasion training?

As far as I know age has a lot to do with it. Some players from 16-26 will improve and some players older than that go the other way, losing quality.
It will NOT help to select players who don't go up, hoping they will go up after playing them. Players who never win or lose points do not suddenly get points after selecting them. I often play with my local team (ADO den Haag) and it always are the same players who go down an who go up and who stay the same.
What you CAN do is selecting players who go up. Then they go up more! Also you can limit the points a player goes down by selecting him for the team.
