Hi

thanks for the replies to my question of players wandering out of formation but what i really want to know is does anybody know why this happens when the game is so easy to play even on the supossedly lv 6 the computer has not got the intelligence to be able to pull you out of position only when your players wont stay where they should this is a gross mistake on konami for continuing to allow this to happen the cursor is also at fault because it should always go on the player nearest the ball then you would be able to close down quickly and AI needs looking at again for the next one the best teams should punish you heavily if you make mistakes particually High profile players but more often than not they will miss golden opportunities come on konami get it sorted

To be honest, I do think good teams (Madrid, Barca, Man Utd etc) do punish you for silly mistakes. I've had it where I'm arsing about with the ball in my own half, Figo nicks it off R. Perez, whips in a low cross and Ronaldo, unmarked, does a diving header straight past Lewis.

However, rarely do teams force you into making these mistakes, and so you rarely get punished.

Manual cursor change works fine for me.
Auto cursor change selects wrong players a lot of the time.

Thanks for the reply also do your players nearly always stumble over the ball howmany world class plyrs do that in real life and why do plyers who go to head the ball sometimes just get the ball to hit them on the head instead of any power or direction and penalties are to easy to get also which spoils the game

If your players are *always* in the right place at the right time, then you would have a perfect team wouldnt you? lol

If you know one of your key players are out of place, you can always switch to them and make them move back (especially the centre back defenders). As for team positioning when building an attack ... all you need to do is just *wait* for your team mates. Rushing a pass will always either pass to the wrong player or towards your oponnent.

ohhh auto is impossible to use well - get used to manual and you won't look back. You really need it to get the full control of the game.
