I did read the reviews for your information. In fact I probably read a lot more and researched the game more than you before it was released! I even got rid of my Xbox 360 and bought a PS3 just for this game under the impression that it would be superior. Where do you think I found that out I wonder???

I understand your point of view, I really do, but sometimes it does no harm in shaking things up a bit. Its an ok game, but still has big problems.

At the end of the day you're welcome to your opinion but don't expect others to have the same view as you. And before you say that Sunny and I are trying to influence your opinion we're not. We're actually trying to talk to the people that feel the same way as us and that would like some clarification as to why the game went so badly wrong and what the future holds for PES2008 in terms of updates.

I for one am one of the most opinionated assholes i know (barring maybe Stella), and believe me when i say your 'influence' was of no matter.

Just don't hold your breath for any fixes.... what the hell will they do for 09/10 if they fix this one?

They have not broken any promises, they have released a game which (for next gen) has not reached it's full potential, but that's not a crime. If a movie, book, cd, dvd etc, if you dont like it do you send it back. Games have been having lag problems online since online was introduced, games have had slowdown problems since games started.

Exactly. Konami have delivered what they promised, aside from the odd misleading screenshot perhaps, and there's no way anyone outside of these forums will give a toss about how ripped off anyone feels.

The one with all the fans in the pub, which made some people think you would have proper interaction with them, when really it was only a pretty ML picture. At least that's the first to spring to my mind.

i think this is more disappointment than anger, people are pissed off that the only football game they can play hasnt lived up to some expectations to the degreee where people wont play it therefore leaving them with no football game to play which means they are pissed off because in real terms expected more than konami could give,

i know myself i loved on the ps2 pes1 then loved pes2 more then 3 more and 4 more then 5 came out nd i was a bit disappointed, thought it would get better so bought 6, thought same again so bought 2008

in terms of next gen maybe coz its the first installment they havent got everything right and maybe might make the next pes immense

Don't get me wrong Goldbergio, I'm dissapointed with PES2008. But not to the extent that I'm gonna organise mass boycotts or contact the national media. I don't think anyone should ever feel that way about a game, because lets face it, it's just a game. If you booted the thing up and there was a massive dripping cock on the title menu, then people would have a right to be annoyed; but it's just not all that bad.

Haha what a bunch of jokers you lot are, they completely revamp the game with a step in the right direction and because its not the same as it is every year and the fact you have to adapt, you spit the dummy out.

Only problem i see is the Lag and other minor things, get a life.

on the lines of ps2 its hardly revamped. if they had of corrected the keeper taking you out when youve gone round him and you get a pen and he gets sent off and when you go clean through and the last defender brings you down and he doesnt even get a booking then i would have been more happy but they cant even correct that

also how when your on a wing you have to be clear of the defender before you can cross it or it just hits him every time

oh my god!!! Stop complaining. i know theres a bit of a lag online, but to be honest, its not that bad for me. offline, it runs perfectly smoothly. i cant beleive your trying to report this to watchdog!!! get a life!
