Post-Match Individual Player Ratings

anyone know how the game calculates these? 'cos sometimes i'll have a player who plays really well and he'll get a crappy rating, especially if he's a WF, they seem really underrated.

the only thing i've figured so far is that goals sometimes lead to high ratings especially important goals (equalisers and winners), but not always, and your defenders never get good ratings if you even concede one goal.

The in-game Player Rating's are rather silly.

Like, when I was classic Juventus on John Lennon's great Classic OF, Platini was a right gem in the middle of the park. He set up three goals, and scored two hiself. Best player on the pitch got an 6.0, yet Charles who play's up-front got a 7.0, when all Charles was do really was score once, he never hardly had the ball.

I would love Konami to sort this out and make it much more realistic, and possibly comment on every player's part in the game - But I cannot see that happening anytime soon.

For me Babel scored 3 and set up 1. He got 8.0
Torres scored 1 and set up 1 and he got 9.0*

I had a couple of problems with the Player ratings and man of the match also, but its no biggie because it is around the right players who get man of the match anyway.

After playing the game for a week I noticed the ratings were fucked so I stopped paying attention to them. The highest I ever got was a 9.5 with John Carew... but 98% of the time, they're completely wrong

they calculate them by completed passes/dribbles/shots etc.

I hope they can really sort this problem out for PES 2008.

I don't know if it happens on PES6 on PS2, but on PES5, sometimes you'd find that Man of the Match wasn't always the person with the highest rating. I don't know if anyone had noticed it. I know no one noticed last time when I posted it last year, so I was wondering if it happens in PES6 on PS2 (bloody 360 version).

as for the man-of-the-match not getting the highest rating, i think they always give it to someone on the winning side,

yeah it is a bit messed up, which wouldn't matter except that they are used to calculate how much experience players get in ML

i think the rating take these points in consideration:

* the players converge on the field
* the no. of good passes
* passes which leeds to goals
* goals
* dribble time
* on target shoots
* other things!

thats why CBs don't get big rating.
always check out the details after every game.

yea but that's unfair on defenders/keepers that's why Konami need to sort it out if they're gonna have it in PES2008

yeah i agree, with CBs, if no one passes him, and if you dribble a little bit, with a lot of good passes and one or two shoots, you'll get a 7.5

it's not fare i agree, by the way, the best mark i had was 9.5 with seedorf, is there a 10??
