power level is not accurate to how long you hold down shoot or pass button

i hold it down all the way and it doesnt shoot with max power

i hope this will be part of the update fix for tomorrow

I agree with you mate. I hold the x button down all the way but sometimes he just makes a tiny pas to the nearest player (that's playing with assisted passing on 0)

I'm sure when I hold down the power my shots will regularly be blasted over the bar. I'm sure that will be the case even when I don't. Practise makes ... more practise.

it seems as if the power bar on passing becomes more irregular the lower you set the pass assist. a kink in the armor of assisted passing levels perhaps?

set passing assist to zero for more power and control - passing to 5 will have automatic power regardless of how long you jam the power button for

as with every football game i can ever remember, it is possible to overfill the power bar resulting in fluff shots etc.

I think passing in pes 2012 is shite no matter what assisted-passing setting i use.

Unfortunately the cpu control the direction and player all the time even playing with 0.

This is very frustrating.
For example when passing the ball around in the defence: If i control one of the central defenders and wants to pass it to the opposite back, i press the x button to a maximum and he still passes the ball to the other central defender 2 meters from him (assisted passing on 0)

Agreed with the inconsistent power level especially during passing. I also noticed the same thing with through pass, sometimes when I just tap the through pass button it will hit the pass way too hard. And when I press until the power level is full, it sometimes pass to the guy nearest.

It's like the game is scripted and the CPU will do what it want whatever we press

If you really wanna make the most out of the off the ball movement and carve up some nice passes you have to use the manual pass, it is difficult to get the hang of it, but, once you get it you wonder how could you live without it lol !!!!!
