'tis me! It's close, very close, I'd say a few days. Everything is in place now I just need to tweak one or two things and do a few remaining transfers. I did quite a bit yesterday but then ballsed up and made the file unreadable, so that set me back a day or two :(

hi, with the option files, is it possible to open them on the pc then import bits onto my ps2 version, just cos i only have pompey and charlton left to add but i dunno if i can be bothered at the mo, but i still wouldnt mind them in game- as its the player editing on kmochidas editor that takes the time, so if i can open ur option file then i can just use bits of that.
which format is the file in?

Paddy, I don't know if that's possibly or not, the file will be in .xps form. Whether you could do it with 2 memory cards and do it from the game or not, I have no idea. If you know anyone who knows how to edit the option file using a Hex editor that might work too.

The only bad thing about this file is that there are players all over the place in the Edit mode, but everyone is registered to the right team. I'll try and make a list for each team saying where each player is in the edit mode to make editing easier. As long as I don't corrupt the file again it should be ready for Tuesday.

dont worry about it mate, thank you for the reply but ive just solved my problem....so for anyone who cares.
I used the wolfs pc option file which you can download off his site and then just exported team data, and player data for the teams i didnt have/ players i'd accidentally left out in kmichidas editor and it was done in double quick time. If it works, which i'll be able to say in about an hour, then there is no real need for people to make their own prem teams for their own versions cos u can just take it from the pc option files, which is quite helpful!

Well it's Tuesday...and it's still not ready :D

I've still got about 40 players left to do so it will be Thursday or Friday now.

Uhhhhh it's going to be next week now I think, unless I don't go out Friday night and stay up to the wee hours working on it, in which case I might be able to have it for Saturday. I'm just getting rid of all the duplicate names at the moment, then I've got the appearances of those 40 players left...then a final check of every squad for numbers and line-ups.

Or maybe I should stop sticking deadlines on this altogether and just say it will be ready when it's ready ;)

Which teams do you have in? Is it all prem then some div 1 or just prem and some left over?

Marky it's just got all the Premiership teams on it, I don't think I'll be doing any Nationwide teams as it's taken well over a month to get these 8 on...

safesoundz, I've had a look at DJsaunders' file and it's ok but it was released during the transfer window so I don't think it has the January transfers in, certainly not for the foreign teams anyway.

Yeah. I've done every transfer, appearance, squad number, flag...well you get the idea.

I just need to go through each team and get the team line-ups done since they've all had a pretty big shake up. Should take me about 2 hours to do so I'll get that done tomorrow, probably post the file tomorrow night.

Bah, why does everything take so much longer than I think it will. I've done all the teams up to Bayern Munich, so I'll do some tomorrow and some Sunday. I'll be off out tomorrow so I don't expect to get too much done.

It'll be worth it...I promise ;)
