I agree.. Yesterday ppl were complaining about the guy that walks up and down the sidelines and I think it started off as a joke but ppl were actually complaining about it :no::unsure:

i got used to the defending. most of my games or low scoring games.
what i dont like is the cpu doing things for me. like when the ball going out and you try and run to make an attempt to keep it in then the cpu just makes the player stop.
and i keep seeing tons of own goals. you can see it comming but cant stop it.
i also seen the ball go across my 6 yard area and the cpu has a free tap it but the annimation slows down and you know hes going to miss the ball
i just feel for the last few years this game is trying to be like fifa when is should be like pes on ps2

You can't really say Ockrass grammar is bad compared to Markcross (no offence). Anyway you can tell he got 'Your' and 'you' mixed up. And to be honest you can't say someone had bad grammar if he doesn't use contraction apostrophes as this isn't a formal letter. When you look at Markcross punctuation and grammar it is well worse than this.
Also comparing PES & FIFA is like comparing C.Ronaldo and Messi, one is better when you think inside the box like Ronaldo as he is better at things like crossing and heading and one is better when you think outside the box like Messi who illudes everyone into thinking he is the best player with his agility and dribbling when cr7 is better at everything else.
FIFA is obviously the latter one as they illude everyone with their commentatory and licenses eventhough FIFA has better individuality

yes i stand by my claim that most people moan that the game is shit and badly made because they are simply shit at it and cant accept it, they find it easier to blame the game for there lack of skill than themselves, baangus even said he adapted pes2011 to his likeing? and couldnt b arsed goin to the trouble of doin it again this year!!!
So Markcross, after your conclusion of the game being perfect, would you happily buy the same game for PES 2013?
the bad things in the game outweigh the good.
we should of been worried when they relesed 2 demos. why would they do that. both demos was differnt.
another thing lacking is the in game weather conditions. wheres the rain and snow. the pitch cutting up during a mid winter game. this is meant to be next gen

i dont know. i also played fifa and thats even worse then pes.
i played fifa12 a few times but its just boring.

i sold my pes 12 now and will wait for next year and hope that will be better

Yes i will happily buy pes2013 as soon as its out abu my old mucker, but i hav never said 2012 is perfect, no game is perfect its a comp game ffs therfore its impossible to make a game to reflect real life in every aspect on the pitch!!! I simply enjoy the game with its flaws, alot of which are simply rubbish players not bein able to play the game and making out its worse than it is, the only perfect thing in this world is adriana lima, and if theres such a thing as reincarnation i would like to come back as a pair of her knickers
But the thing you don't understand here is that we want PES 2013 to be the most realistic game. I agree with your statement that PES 2012 is fun and addictive and the best next-gen yet but it doesn' fully function like a real life sim. 1) The game speed is too fast creating end to end football which doesn't happen in real life
2) Shooting might be perfect but passing isn't as the accuracy has been messed up
3)Players not intercating with each other leading to disposssed passes and players falling on top of each other
4)You can't choose if you want to stand tackle or Slide tackle
5)Every team you verse on superstar or top player or Professional don't play accoring to their tactics and make godly interceptions.
If these problems were reduced, if would be more realistic to the football we watch today. Not perfect, but getting there.
However i don't want KONAMI to remove these problems as sometimes they occur in real life.
Btw, Markcross, This is not because I am crap at the game as my record on superstar is great and I am 2nd in division 2 of my master league with Genk so I have no problems winning.
Also, what problems do you think are letting the game down from being near perfect?

You challenged me to upload FIFA clips as you said that all I was doing was dishing out the good points of PES whilst having no proof that FIFA was indeed much worse than PES, a challenge which I accepted.
I'll even address the points you make here and put them into context.
Previously on here I posted a Bolton game which I will use as an exhibit for the defence of PES together with that Arsenal clip I showed everyone. It is pure coincidence that the games I had tonight on FIFA, were Arsenal first up, and Bolton secondly. This was a huge stroke of luck as not only will I be able to analyse both games accordingly but I can analyse both sets of sub games against each other....PES fanboys be prepared for some laughs.
Right,it's late now (or early), and I've got a full day of work today to be getting on with, however when I am done for the day I will start my analysis Abu and post something monstrous tomorrow night, it will long and detailed but you asked me and dared me, so let's get it on!

I sold my fifa 12 saturday...
The reason being, although I feel the gameplay is not that bad, is that I play on world class and playing with Dortmund in my career mode...I simply didn't concede any goals.
I played with the new advanced defending, but the AI is just too predictable and after reaching halfway in my season I haven't conceded a single goal.
I became frustrated...so I tried a exhibition game, me as Arsenal, the AI as Real Madrid on legendary. Final score 1-0 to me, winning with a penalty. Real Madrid only got 2 shots on goal the whole game.
Pity the AI is so retarded.
I still say, if Fifa had the AI that PES 12 had, it would've been close to perfect in my opinion.

Then how come everyone says FIFA 12 AI is scripted a when you score they don't?
Abu, I play every game to win, but for me, that isn't even what it is about. For me the content of the game is the most important, the result is always almost secondary, even though I play every game to win.
It's all been done now, the clips are in so to speak. I will upload later and from there generate the mother of all PES v FIFA analysis.
The games I chose to play were thus -
PES - Superstar, 20 minute game, 1 bar assist
FIFA - World Class, 20 minute game, whatever the default wireless control thingy was.
I can't wait......this may be delayed by a day or so though as each match (that's four in all) are huge files!
