but aren't they comparing the ONLINE graphics of the xbox compared to the OFFLINE ps2 version so for all we kno the xbox version may look jus as good as or even better than the ps2 version offline.

spot on! for example in Halo 2 the graphics of multiplayer have been tuned down to allow lag free online gameplay so maybe Konami are doing the same.

but i doubt it because konami are porting the PS2 version directly to the Xbox so the graphics should look the same or worse. also, people who have played both version say xbox looks slightly worse.

personally what i saw of it and played at Game Stars looked identical to PS2

It doesn't matter that the graphics look a bit worse on the Xbox. What does concern me is that for now a tournament isn't possible online!!! That''s a pitty to me. I hope that there is at least some kind of ranking. I can't wait to go online with it even if 1-1 matches is the only option, but it would be a miss to me.

lol they are saying that you cant wind up your opponent by not kicking the ball for 2 hours, so once the timer runs down they will kick it for you. they dont mean that the actual timer is 2 hours long. prob about 10 secs.

Well, online play still sounds good - no matter which version we are talking about, graphics etc. We ARE here for FUN...so that's the most important. Personally, is IS a bit expensive for XBL...so that's what is holding me back...not much else.

I already have XBL so I will buy PES4 on the X-box for sure and play it till I'll drop. I will definately buy the converter so I can play it on a PS2 controller. I'm sure that it is just a matter of getting used to, but I really believe that PES/WE has to be played on the PS2 controller. I play the game for years now, it's all I know. About the graphics I don't believe that PES4 on the X-box will look much worse than the PS2 version. It might look less colourfull because it is a straight port of the PS2 version, so it doesnt matter that much to me. If the graphics on the PS2 will look much better than the X-box version I would still buy the X-box version, but I would be dissapointed for sure.

Dannyboy, thanks for your answer, I sure hope that it will be possible to play tournaments and stuff and have a clan so you can play and setup some tournaments.....

Well it is easy enough to play FIFA 2005 on the S-Controller, and for that you use the right analogue stick to do tricks. The black and white buttons on the S-Controller are closer to your right hand than the right analogue stick, so I can't see a real playability problem.

just been playin fifa on x-box, and the off the ball bollox is on the white button which is near impossible to find without looking at the pad coz it's flat! you can feel it! what's the point of having a button you can't feel ?! just brought an xbox and the pad is awful d-pad on a rocker not individual buttons and buttons so small and hard to find you need to pause the game and check the pad... i must get an adapter before november.

is it possible to get a gamecube joypad adaptor for the x-box? I've got one for the PC, what chance of that working on the xbox?
