Anyone keeping an eye on the progress of Pro Evo 5 on the PSP will be sad to hear that the game is apparently pretty poor. And this comes not only from many magazines and online reviews, but sadly from the man himself...Seabass!

Apparenty he's gone on record to say that this due to the game getting pushed for a quick roll out for a PSP, even though he was not happy with the final product. the major flaws being that:

1) the view is way too close, so you will need to use the radar for even simple passes

2) No master league - or ANY cups for that matter - only exhibition, league, practice - pretty poor you'll agree

3) awful screen blur as the game is a rough port from PS2, so you get alot of screen blur

... now for ther good news...They are currentky working on the next version of the PSP edition which will niggle out any problems and support full master league, various cups and a re-written graphics engine for the PSP to enable full 16:9 widescreen support !!! the only niggle ?? gotta wait until Nov 2006!!!

i have pro evo 5 and it really is amazing, have not noticed the blur mentioned whatsoever and a friend who literally plays pro evo all day everyday till he is perfect at the game (did it with every pro evo) says that the only bad thing about it is it cant fully zoom out but it dosnt infringe upon gameplay, and that turning is notiably better on the psp version
