the graphic as just below ps2, but this is a limt force on it due to battery power, it can out do the ps2 but it would kill the battery quicker, when sony make a higher capatiy batterthey may allow it to use its full power.
and for £180 for a machine that will be a games machine, link to files thought ps3, an mp3 player and play movies and all on the move is cheap to start off at

ive only played 3 games, hot shots golf, puzzle bobble and lumines(puzzle)
the two puzzle games obviously dont have gud graphics they are jus standard, and hot shots golf the graphics on there were alright but its cartoony so cant tell too much. i reckon the more impressive graphics are likely to be in the racing games and that which i hope to get one of soon i hope!

The graphics on the need for speed game looked almost identical to the ps2 need for speed! The sound quality was great aswell!

I hope Konami can come up with a good control system for PSP PES5, cosidering the PSP only has one analogue stick, and 2 less shoulder buttons than a standard PS2 Dual Shock pad

not sure on eurpoen psp as there not released but the psp has a more powerful chip in it then the emoiton egion of ps2 so can run better grafics, but due to the power hugray nature it has to be limted. you could most proply over clock it, but it would kill baterys very quickly, and make the unit very hot.

I've got a PSP with Ridge Racer, Wipe Out Pure. Fifa Soccer (yes I know, but I really needed a soccer game guys) and Nba Street Showdown. To be honest, the graphics are amazing, considering it's a handheld. The graphics are a bit below PS2 graphics on the PSP. I've seen almost every game that's available at this moment for the PSP, and some games come close to PS2 graphics, and some look like PSone graphics. A game like WipeOut Pure or Ridge Racer is amazing, it looks great and plays pretty smooth on this great handheld.

Fifa Soccer however looks like rubbish if you compare it to some of the other games on the PSP. It feels like playing on the PSone, and it looks like that. I really hope that PES5 will look better and play better than Fifa does because otherwise it's better to stick with the PS2/Xbox/PC version of the game. I am going to import WE9 (due in September this year so I've heard) because I just can't wait to play a WE/PES game on a handheld as powerfull as this one.

Yes, the PSP is a great handheld, the best one available by far. And yes, the battery time sucks big time. I can play a game like Wipe Out for about 2,5 - 3 hours and then it's over with the fun, and that is not with Wifi or anything. The brightness is on the lowest level and still the PSP is only powerfull enough for a maximum of 3 hours. I have enough faith in Sony that they will come up with a new and more powerfull battery, so the specs of the PSP can be used to it's limit......

For now I am going to play WE9 on the PS2 in about a week or two........ Yes, life is beautiful.

back to PES5 though, isn't the PSP 'widescreen'?
If so, could this mean that the console versions will have a true widescreen mode?

there is still a possibility of region coding on games, so maybe a US one would be a safer option because there are no language options on the games... www.importmadness.com - i got mine from this site with wipeout pure for much less than the price of the console alone over here, and have had it since march...
