being able to change the commentary name for a team, or is this already possible and i just missed it? i know in we6 this was possible after winning the konami cup.

After having to play FIFA the other night(one of my moron friends wont play PES and loves FIFA), I am having trouble even trying to find a problem with PES that needs fixed :lol:

Been playing pes4 since it came out and i noticed when you chase a player 2 get the ball, the computer will automaticlly change your player, which get's really annoying. Hope they don't have this in pes5, or maybe there is a way i could stop this??

Yes the A.I should be improved and the graphics, if possible, should be enhanced. But the little things annoy me as well.
For example, not being able to view a replay when play has stopped, there have been many times when i've either had an amazing shot thats gone wide or a dispute over whether or not a foul actually occured but have not been able to view it cos the refs blow his whistle.

Headers and volleys should be improved....there are a lot of things I could think of that could be altered but maybe we'll just have to wait til the PS3 comes out for some of them.

I'd also prefer the names of the teams that are playing to be shown, instead of the badges, up in the top corner where the scores our shown. When do you see the badges of clubs with the score, when you watch matches on TV? It's always the clubs name or abbreviation. aka. Man U 2 - 1 L'Pool

I want better turning circles. Something i've noticed with the gameplay that i thought PES4 improved on PES3 with, was the manueverability of the player dribbling, but runs still seem to only occur on a 8 point axis, and running a straight line should not be as straight. Seems very video-game as it is now. The constant back turning to position is tiresome. Players should be able to turn on their run, but not by showing their backs to the play. More mo-cap is needed.
Better presentation. Personally i thought PES4 took a step back from PES3. There should be more cutscenes that focus in on player reactions, so we can have a nice look at the kits or their faces. Also - for the love of god, please change the height to display in FEET, NOT cm! And improve the camera angles. Again, they were better positioned in PES3.
The animations when the whistle is blown are seriously jarred. Sometimes your player should know to stop running, instead of carrying on, or a few second before whistle they should start to cellebrate, or the crowd should be whistling for the end of the game. But animations need some work when the game ends - they seem disjointed.

oh yeah - forgot to mention:
AUTOMATIC SUB options. Eg, i personally cant be arsed in pausing the game and subbing. We all know that in real football, subs mostly occur at 80mins. It'l usually be 2 players. I reckon PEs5 should allow player teams to autosub. So when you're playing, you'll get to a point at the 75/80 min mark when you have two players subbed into your team. Ofcourse, you should be able to tweak this in formation settings. Eg, if one of your strikers is doing well, the computer would sort down the list of perferred sub positions to find the next best option - or use the rating system and try to sub the player who it thinks is performing the least best. add in an option to accept or decline proposed subbings and you're rocking.
PS, i REALLY HATE how when there's a computer subbing in PES4, you can't take a free kick quickly until the subbing box is off your screen. It's so annoying. You should be able to play past this and "over" it.

in master leagues they hav to change the fact that young superstars like ashley cole,adriano,rooney and casillas get unbelievably shit after 1 or 2 seasons yet players like figo,zidane and roberto carlos get so much better.Also a wider range of club teams e.g why not have the whole portugese league instead of just 3 or 4 portugese teams,the same goes to belgian and argentianion leagues. Finally the premiership should be licensed and there should be a championship so teams get promoted and relegated.

The fact that you cant pick out a player 2 metres away from you is ridiculous. You can only play the ball in certain places and the angles are limited. eg. You cant play the ball all the way to the left/right when taking a freekick, so if a player is to your right, you cant pick him out. It FORCES you to play the ball forward, and foward only. You dont have the full range of choices. I mean, forget about passing the ball back...It's impossible. You dont always realise when playing, but when you do, you cant help but think how stupid it is...
This is also slightly the case on corner kicks. I sometimes try to play the ball in the air directly to the centre of the outside of the box (so some-one can hit it on the volley...United try it with Scholes or Rooney sometimes), yet if you are on the left hand side of the pitch, and you're taking the corner with a right-footed player, Pro Evo went let you make the right angle!!!!

1) Ragdolls. I want the tackle to look real and never look the same. With good ragdolls, the point of impact would determine how the body would fall. Random................it would be great.
2) We need full 360° movement. I don't always like to run in such straight lines. The ball has it, but the players should have it too.
3) The running animations. They look like robots sometimes. This is the only real drawback to the game.

Ragdoll physics would make the game look more like a comedy show than a football game. The game could use more animations, but in real soccer people tend to fall over the same way because of how the body reacts automatically when showed or tackled.
Ragdolls would be fine if there was an option to shot someone on the pitch with a sniper-rifle, otherwise it will look dumb.
