Pro Evo 5: What do you want in the next game?

I don't know if anyone has mentioned them, but I have 3:

1) More official adidas kits in editing;
2) More places to aim penalty kicks like FIFA '98;
3) Better referee and player AI, especially defender (e.g. defenders freeze when a through pass is played, even if it's right next to them).

does anyone else get that stupid fucking thing where you play a through ball and the bloke runs alongside the ball for about and second and a half, by which time you've been tackled? thats top of my list...as well as ditching the idea of people who really cannot dribble...they are supposed to be pro footballers and none of them are that bad (with the exception of that streak of piss Crouch). better first touch..that thing where you turn as the ball comes to you and it flies in the air...that dicks me off.more recognition for up and coming players...Madrid are not that good anymore and Figo should suck - Players like Adu Gilardino Essien Robinho..should be awesome.

Maybe not just the player stats should conclude the teams ability there should be an extra bar for the team altogether. For example, Everton do not have worldclass players but because they have a good team overall the teams stats should be higher.

You make a very good point about the through ball thing. I've been meaning to point that one out. I think the whole 'player-on-rails thing' is at its worst in PES4 compared to even earlier versions. I hope this has gone in PES5 - it's just the computer cheating!!

I know you can super-cancel but why should I? I only end up running past the ball or something and ruining the opportunity anyway.

thankfully..someone else gets that. but ive thought of a few more:

is it just me or do you rarely win headers, even when its Ferdinand against someone like Gerrard and also when you do win a header, there is no one there to head to...they all run away...computer cheating. Also where after you score the computer doesn't like it so goes off and scores a wonder goal and you mysteriously lose control of your players for a bit. Corners should be made a little easier...i like how its not like FIFA where you can score every time but maybe just a little more realistic (eg. when a high floating ball is met by a player's head whilst he is leaning back, only for the ball to fly into the top of the stand)

the players need to make runs aswell..that is good in FIFA where you can press L1 or L2 i cant remember and the players make an intelligent run...but dont get me wrong, fifa still sucks ass.

and also the way that the players pass should be edited..they always flick the ball with the outside of the foot - why?

to be honest..the licensing doesnt really bother me as much as it does some people...i think its important to get the gameplay correct before getting licenses (if you're listening EA.. this applies to you)

I've just seen a replay of someone scoreing and as the ball trickled into the net he just stood still it went over the line, I think in PES5 they should start to run off as the ball is on its way like they do in the Prem or turn away then if the keeper saves it fall to there knees or somthing?

Any news on the make up of the new Master League, is it going to be the same format or what?
I would like the Computer to be able to score, you can get through the top comps in the ML without conceeding many goals. If you have a half decent defense and a good keeper you are sorted. Even the top strikers fluff shots when they should score. I hope this time they make the Comp teams craftier and more clinical

I would like it if first-time shots weren't so easy to score (i.e. the ball gets rolled infront of a player and they shoot first-time, and they always seem to get loads of power and accuracy, no matter who the person shooting is). It may look spectacular, but it's annoying when you play a mate who isn't that good a PES, but seems to score the same way all the time. Defenders, especially shouldn't be able to consistently blast 30 yard shots into the top-corner with these first-time shots.

I'm sure I've got other things that I'd like changing, but I can't think of any more at the moment..........

I think Konami need to make the 1-on-1s more realistic. For example very few goalkeepers (if any) could stop Henry or Van Nistelrooy or any other real quality finishers in a 1-on-1 situation yet on Pro4 they seem to do it all the time! I end up chipping or going around the goalkeeper nearly everytime now, which as we all know does NOT happen. Real referees would be good as well, then i could hack down Grahm Poll, the little arse face.

Yeah but if they did that it it would cover the screen and might get very annoying if you couldnt see what you were doing. Konami would have to make it so small it would probably be a struggle to read.

I want a camera that point's facing the goal your attcking in both half's, this pisses me off that you have to shoot off the screen in the second half, did it on FIFA 98 to.

Abaddon, try using the camera tilt option and you can see the goal quite well.
(press R1 in the camera select screen)
