Pro Evo in the Future....

Ok, Me and a Mate have really only ever played Pro Ev in cooperative, i taught him to play the first one using Co-op while we were at uni, and we still play together now as we share a house. (Winning the master league starting with the default team on 6* i might add). Although we play "one player" against other mates i find it frustrating when the computer doesn't make the runs i want.

We won't live together soon, and so we have talked about playing online as a Co-op still. It got us to talking, (now, there may be something like this going on already, i don't know). But, with the internet getting better, will it be possible to have eleven different pro evo users connected via the internet onto one team playing another eleven. Meaning you each control one player for the whole ninety minutes.

Even the goalies would be human controlled, (the exact controls refined and view from behind the goal maybe, r2 to dive low right L1 to dive high left etc). This would then mean you could play and get better as a team of eleven or a squad of more and a full on online league could take off with trading going on off season. A good goalie, as in real footy would be essential.

Admittedly this might be a bit out there, but, i reckon a few people at least who were playing in the league would probably tune in just to watch a cup final let alone play.

Surely there is the oppotunity for Sony and Konami to make a wedge.

Personally i think i'd be defensive midfielder, my mate would be a left winger... You'd have to choose a player to be the whole season...

Any thoughts? Expansion? Or news if something like this is already out there?

Nice idea dude but I doubt it'll happen, you can't ask for 22 people to be online at the same time on certain dates, it would take huge commitment for it... But hey what do I know, maybe there are some people that have the time and are willing to be that commited...

multi multi gaming (as i call it) really only ever works with like shooting games like call of duty or others. You can have loads of players who join at different times and can play as teams etc. It would just be too hard for Konami

ps. I'm not ruling it out though ;)

Imagine for a second that would be possible...
I can bet when it's time to choose positions everyone will be CF and guess what...
no one would want to be GK...
But I guess it would still be possible, although highly improbable...

... And even if you did all of that, how many players do you think would actually play their position? I'll bet that the game would play like a bunch of 5 year olds all chasing the ball around instead of using tactics. I really dont see how anyone can expect the defenders to want to stand there and do nothing while everyone else attacks... I just dont see it being a practical way to play, unless everyone playing is extremely serious about this game and are affiliated with each other some how... implying that they're all trustworthy enough to do their individual parts.

IGN.com Says that's what Seabass is aiming to do, 11 vs. 11.

It might even be included when PES it out on a next gen console.
