Pro Evo Soccer 2008. Why is it so jerky!?

Can anyone please help me?

I recently purchased a PS3 along with Pro Evo. I find the game very jerky when a player runs with the ball. I have returned the game but the new one is the same. I wasnt sure if it was just the way the game was or my Playstation is'nt right. I dont have an HD TV so maybe that could be the problem?

Any advice from anyone would be welcome.

the lack of a hdtv is the problem you need to get one. You'ld also need to get your ps3 online if you haven't already and download the patch.

i have component cable, it registered as 720p, but still jerky for some reason. Perhaps need update first?
