Changes in version 1.20

1. Searching for opponents in “Quickmatch” tries first to pair you with players having a good connection
2. Occasionally appearing slow downs during matches have been fixed to improve game play quality
3. Some changes to the network structure have been introduced in order to solve issues for users which are not able to connect to opponents
4. Issues with Windows Vista causing PES 2008 not to recognize the full amount of the video card's VRAM have been fixed.
5. Various other minor issues have been corrected

Managed to get the patch installed (eventually) and it makes absolutely no difference in this respect:

No, it hasn't been fixed on Vista x64.

After hearing the reviews for the first one, i'm not even going to bother with these patches until it actually recieves some positive responses.

Had never been able to play an online game until this patch, just had my very first game!!

Worth a try if you've been having any problems

If you want to play online, you have to update the game with the patch. There's no choice. I'm hoping it improves the online gameplay.

I have same problem. Before pes worked fine, but after istalling 1.20 patch pes won't work.
