Pro evolution soccer 6 on PS3 !?

The XBOX 360 hardly looks like "next generation" to me. While it remains to be seen whether the PS3 is going to use all of its power, when you compare the differences from PS1 to PS2 and then PS2 - PS3 and Xbox - Xbox 360. I think we can only be disappointed and as such i'm not setting my hopes too high for an amazing next gen PES6.

WHAT!!! The xbox 360 and the PS3 are almost identical, there are minor differences, like tera flops and so on, but graphically they will be almost identically. The xbox 360 has more memory than the PS3 and a better graphic card so..... I have only seen KillZone 3 and Motor Storm, that really impressed me, but they were pre-rendered and only demos! On the other hand, the games I have seen for the 360 have been impressive, at least some of them, like Project Gotham Racing 3 and Gears of War, both of them are much better looking than most of the games/demos I have seen for the PS3! And the whole concept is much better with the xbox 360! You can't count on the specs they release, it's just a marketing bullshit. In the end it all depends on how they make the games! There has already been some footage from the new FIFA game for the xbox 360 (I'm not a fan, so don't worry) and that looks really good in my opionion! Just wait and see. It takes time to learn the new consoles and how to use their power the best way! I'm sure that the next WE for the xbox 360 will be amazing! Both graphically and especially with the LIVE function!

ps3 will sell, as the people at sony have got it using blue ray disc, and like there marketing last year with the dvd player, "why by a sperat player when you can buy a all in one system".
the normal rule of thum is the cut screens, ps2 grafics where the same as ps1 cut screens, thought this may be hard to pul off with pes as the grafics need to be dulled dow so that quick move ment dosent look slow as it renders the movment.

hansen, the tera flops would be the main point, the bigger the number the better, what the point of being able to show it if it hasent the power to use its protencal.

I don't want to turn this thread into a console war thread... but all I have to say is both systems are going to be great, one is not going to be significantly better then the other and games that are going to be released on both systems are going to be virtually the same... When we are really going to see what both consoles are capable of is with each consoles exclusive games like MS has halo, project gotham racing, dead or alive, splinter cell etc etc, and Sony has gran tourismo, tekken, metal gear solid, devil may cry etc etc... and we really are not going to be able to see the consoles take complete full advantage until a few years down the road when developers of the games are completely comfortable with the systems and know exactly how to program these games for the best results possible for each system...

It has already been confirmed that they are making a PES/WE for the 360... it has not been said for the PS3 yet, but it is for sure going to come to the PS3 as well, it's just since the 360 is being released sooner that’s why they have just mentioned it for the 360 for now

and for people who don’t already know this, the 360 controller has like the xbox controller now the left and right trigger buttons... but it also has two other buttons that has taken the place of the white and black buttons on the xbox controller now... so it is similar like the PS2 controller... it's not four trigger buttons though... just the two normal trigger buttons, and then just normal buttons... like L1(button) L2(trigger) R1(button) R2(trigger) ... in that sense... ahh just go search google for pictures of the controller... this is good because you need those four shoulder buttons for pes/we... I played we8 on xbox before and I hate using that controller with that game... it's just odd

But just to make my point! Of course it is best to have the most tera flops, but the again the 360 has more memory and more pipelines! So I guess we have to wait and see!

PES on Xbox 360 has already been confirmed. Xbox 360 will have been out a year before PS3 is even out.

Not joining the console war.
PES is confirmed for both systems because Konami will sell loads on both. As to which one will be best - or whether it will be significantly better.....who knows. Not even Konami, probably.

For those waiting on PES5, it's good. The PS2 online is extremely good and I think with play it will improve - as per other releases. Subtle, but significant.
AND it's only about 10 weeks away, depending on who's release date you believe - but they won't let FIFA get the jump.

Just enjoy 4 and 5 some more - patience is a virtue that I CERTAINLY HAVEN'T GOT, BUT AT LEAST I'M PRETENDING..... :laugh:
