I was reading around on IGN.com just now and was reading the possible games list for the PSP. And Winning Eleven poped up near the bottom. Naturally I got excited in the chance for a new Pro Evo game. Now I am not saying its totally confirmed but I was reading the aritcle on the news part and it said that the owner/ creater of the series is excited that the team is in the works of assesing the system so they can best utilize the system for the game. Any thought or comments? Like this could be the best thing to happen to me. PLAYING THE GREATEST SOCCER GAME IN THE WORLD. Just think. Playing while at work. On the bus/commute to work or way home. Or even a match itself. Hell even being able to play Pro EVO at Half time. Im starting to drool over the possibilities.

sounds cool mate...i wasnt sure about getting a PSP simply because of the price..and to be honest i still probably wont but if i did it would be due to the fact i could play Pro while in the car etc..but i think it would take some getting used to due to the sheer size of the PSP and to figure out where the buttons are..but still good news.

drooling over what/ I think it would suck. You would be used to the more advanced console version and then going to some hand held would pale in comparison.

The PSP is almost just a portable PS2. But that doesn't matter. Do you have so little faith that Konami would just release a Pro Evo game that sucks just to make money? If they do decide to release one on the PSP I'm sure its going to be the best soccer game one the PSP. Probably on par if not just a little better then the current Pro Evo becuase just about most games will support at least a Wireless LAN connection to people in a certian radius. (yea i think i messed that one up.) Anyway I have true faith in Konami to release yet another great soccer game.

So can it be possible to play online on the PSP. Will it support GPRS. Like the n-gage you can play players from all over the world via GPRS.

You would need a fast, lag free connection for a football game, GPRS just won't cut it for a football game. Plus I don't think the PSP has GPRS built in.

Its only got the power of a PS1 so that certainly doesn't bode well for it. Its not that i have little faith in Konami, I have little faith in the PSP. As for the best football game on the PSP claim, is thee any football game on the PSP?

Well if or when it does come out, you will be able to play online through xbconnect!!
Check out www.xbconnect.com
At the bottom of the page they are saying that they are currently doing testing and played ridge racer on the psp and they were from different continents! They say it runs very well!
Also check out how they set up the psp to play online at www.xbchelp.com/network/psp.php

I really don't understand why people are being so critical of the PSP, to say it has the power of the PS1 is rubbish, you only have to look at most of the screens of games to compare them to scratchy PS2 graphics. So obviously something that can produce graphics as good as it does, most be a bit more powerful than the PS1.

So does that mean you can play it online with just a 56k internet connection?

ive seen and played a psp and i can say the grafix will be as good as games on ps2 i say will be because remmeber how bad the grafix were on the first games on the ps2...they werent good at all, like if you look back too gta3 or pro evo 2 or 1 and even mgs2 all these grafix were amazing at the time but if you look at mgs3 or gta:sa or pro evo 4 over time the grafix got much better...so even though the launch date titles for the psp might not look that good now then in the future psp games will be much better even beter then ps2 but not ps3 standard by a long strech.just give the developers time to get to grips with the machine and youll see me friends what the psp will be capable of .....so pro evo on the psp eh.... wat an idea how bloody amazin would that be ...playin your mates in skool havin little torniments at dinner time my god that would be amazin

the psp will have ps2 power but in a diffrent grafpics program, where as the ps2 has pologons making that blocky look the psp has got a new software that makes game cuirlucer, something about having too points and making a seim-ciurel from them, also it equiped with a wireless connection for mutlplayer game, which i belive will virbrate if theres another player with in range

and the game Football for the psp is "this is football" from the ps2
