Problem saving anything in game

after installing patch 1.10, i've been having problems saving anything. i have to change back to windowed version and then it'll save properly. anyone knows any trick to solving this? i've already tried deleting the old option file.

whats ur specs like? i think mine did before the patch too. but it works well in windowed though. cracking my head.

i havent been making any headway in this. only bringing it back to the windowed version allows me to save it properly. anyone can help on this?

It sounds like a background task or application is interfering with the game, have you tried a clean boot to check if all works normally then?

i havent tried reformatting windows yet. but why would it safe normally when its windowed then. doesnt make sense to me. it has so many bugs. i know its a great game. but its too buggy. just too buggy.

I havent had any bugs other than the week10 crash the patch fixed. If there were any major saving bugs we would ALL be getting them, and it would not be limited to a handfull of cases. Therefor you have something in your system affecting the stability and performance of PES, for which the game can not be blamed.

Windowed mode and fullscreen have different priorities for different applications, and example would be in Vista. Vista will auto disable the Aero effect in fullscreen 3d applications, but if they are run in windowed mode Aero remains active.

Theres no need to reformat windows unless you have let it get in a terrible state performance/stability wise. A clean boot can be done by simply using the MSConfig tool.

any help on the MsConfig thing to get the saving thing to work? im on xp anyway and havent been making any headway in this and hence im only able to play exhibition matches all the way.

Google "clean boot" and MSconfig tool. There are plenty of guides around telling you how to use it for a clean boot. Once you do that, then you can verify that its a background program causing the problem.

i have just reinstalled xp clean boot and can still only play in windowed mode. Also now windows wont let me register it as i have used the key two many time, so i just have 30 days to play.

that seems like a risky thing to do the cleanboot thing. gna do a reformat soon anyway. been some time anyway.

just hope the saving thing clears up by then.

seems like just another bug in the great game. poor gameplay speed. freaking not constant at all. disappointing saving bugs. wth is wrong with seabass. u created a flawless pes5 and pes6. wtf is wrong with u these days? and u had the cheek to create a pes to be almost identical to fifa's engine. pes2008. freaking hell. forgive me. im just freaking mad that my favourite game is getting ruined.

what are you pc specs mate, just wondering if we have some thing the same it could be the proplem
