how do i get this to work?

I've already downloaded the torrent superpatch, easy install shit, which didn't work. It gave me the sounds, faces and stats, but no new kits, just ruined the ones already on.

So anyway, i'm now trying this and i need to know how to install it. I've got the o_text and e_text files, but they are .dkz files. What are they? And where do I put them? Do I just put them in place of the .asf files I already have?

Oh, and I can't download the sound files from here, file front isn't letting me get it.

Oh, and I tried putting the .dkz files in my dat folder, in place of the .asf ones, and tried running the game, but it said something about not running when settings is doing something or other.

So I took them out and put my .asf files back in, but now when I click for the game to start, nothing happens.

Ok, i've just worked out how to use the .dkz files, i patched them etc.

then i started the game, i now have great menu's, amazing faces, nicely updated stats, but the kits haven't been changed. None of the English and German league teams, or any of the other previously un-licensed teams have new kits, whereas teams like Barca and Madrid now have kits that are fudged up.

Could somebody actually help me with this please, since I already raised this problem in another thread over an hour ago.

So what? People can only answer if they can, and its not like anyone is obliged to! Have patience and be nice! Id help if I could, but Im far too busy discussing how ugly Ziege was and how ugly Schweinsteiger (literally "Pig-poker") IS.

I'm not being impatient mate.

I asked for help an hour ago, and i'm asking again in another thread. I can't be helped if nobody knows what the problem is.

And you have to admit, Schweinsteiger is REALLY ugly.

Nah mate, I was just hoping for some help.

Anyway, I wondered if anybody else was noticing any of the flaws i'm having.

Not the one i've just mentioned, but the fact that the faces that are edited don't fit against the rest of the head properly, and Eto'o has wierd hair, with kind of a squarish, blocky fringe.

I don't mean to sound picky, I just wondered if it was just happening to me.

Have you got the option file to go with the superpatch that might be what is fucking it up you should have: Superpatch_e_text, Superpatch_0_text, Superpatch_e_sound, Superpatch_0_sound and an options file which you copy into your my documents/konami/Pro Evolution Soccer 5/save/folder1 file. If you have all of that stuff it should work can't give you any links for that sorry try proevolution online I suppose. So after you have patched everything you should have only messed around with e_sound, 0_Sound, e_text and 0_text and of course the option file. If you have messed about with anything else I suggesting re-installing it and starting again. Hope that helps

help! ive downloaded proevolutionline superpatch vol 2 from the proevolutionline. when i come to unzip the .rar files i get an error saying the files are corrupt. has anyone installed these properly? ive just spent 2 hours downloading bugger all...........thanks

Sounds like some error on the button config screen.
You may have to setup their buttons using the original version of the game and then save the option file. And then load the patched version to play. Which isn't easy on the pc version i know.

Yeh, i can't acces button config. in game for the same reason. I have to do it before I start the game. Great patch but the minor things are still buggin me....like the Liverpool chants during an England game....COME ON!!! ;)
