hi, just wondering if anyone know where i can purchase (online) an adapter that connects to a hd, cuz i have a 1 g hd which i want to insert into my ps2 and use as a mem card. But iam not too sure what it is called or where i can buy one.

I seriously doubt that would work even if you did find an adapter. Unless it was specifically made for that use it most likely won't do anything, or even worse you could destroy your HD.
