when i first got my ps2, online was never goin to be on the cards but after years of pro evo master leagues that are getting quite boring i think its time for a change, i want to get my ps2 online but was wondering.....

1) ive got both big and slimline ps2, which is best to use or both same?

2) is it as simple as plugging it from router to ps2 putting game in and away i go

3)what do games play like on ps2 online? esp pes2008

4) what are good online games

im going to wait a while for ps3, not a great deal of games out for it that i fancy and i havent got a hd tv so pointless until i get that for a start. mainly for pes though

I played online on the ps2 version around 2 or 3 weeks ago and it was very laggy. I'm gonna try again soon - I'm hoping they've fixed the lag issues, because the mechanics of the online mode seem pretty much identical to PES 6 online in my opinion, so that should only require server maintenance on Konami's part. The ps2 version is my favourite of the 2008 games, so I really want the online to be at least as good as last year's game. I also couldn't seem to play 2v2 with my mate as a guest as you could in pro evo 6. I also hope they'll bring back this feature - lag free 2v2 matches rule :)
