this corrects the team/player names in the database so you can play online with correct names (i've tested and it works ok), rosters are still the same though as i don't know what effect transfers will have on online play, i've got a database with some transfers done so i'll test later, also i've not changed any stats either

some team names aren't complete due to limited space, there's nothing i can do about this, all player names including the pes shop players should be correct, let me know if there's any i got wrong

to use the files replace the original sles with the one included (it's the sles from the retail version with edited team names) then import files 22,23,24 & 25 into 0_text, one of the files has been increased in size (22 i think) by only 1 kb but the afs needs to be rebuilt so you'll need to either rebuild with dvd gen or burn as udf/iso with nero

the database doesn't affect your existing option file so any games you play offline will use the data in the option file but when you play online you'll get correct team/player names

i've also included file 19 (param_dat) which the database editor asks for, at the moment i don't know if you need to import it or not, if you do then it could screw up any kits you've imported if they use different collars or models to my kits


i'm not going to answer any questions on playing a patched game online so if you're not sure don't bother asking and go do a search on google

found a couple of things out tonight

a mate (not gonna mention any names in case people start avoiding him online for cheating ) edited the stats of all players on one team to 99, anyway he got disconnected everytime he tried to start a game, if he used another team it was ok

anyway i tested editing a couple of djibril cisse's stats by 1 point and it worked ok

so the servers are obviously checking for cheating which is good but i think it may be possible to create patches that use something like PLF's modified stats or a british teams patch which completely modifies the teams in the game and be able to play online

tomorrow i'm gonna do some more tests changing stats and transfers so could do with a volunteer using the default database to play against just to report back what they see at their end, at the moment it takes me a while to boot copies cos of my laser (new one coming next week) so a bit of patience might be needed, also i don't have a router so have to disconnect my pc so i can't chat on msn or anything during testing, if anyone can help pm me
