Can anyone help me?!!!.... Just bought PES2009 for ps2, got it home, can't find anything on the menu that gets me to play online. Last year it was named 'network', now can't see anything like that. Can anyone enlighten me? Is there no online mode for the ps2 version? If not it's going straight back and I'll stick to 08. PLease, someone! Anyone else confused?/more enlightened than me>? Thanks.

I can confirm that there is NO online mode on the PS2 version of PES 2009.
The game doesn't have the "Network" option in the main menu and the box cover art doesn't have the "With Net Play" logo on it.
So we are to assume that there is no online mode.
Personally, I think that KCET know exactly what they are doing. They are basically forcing PS2 users to buy a PS3 or an Xbox 360 if they want to play PES 2009 online.
It's the first nail in the coffin for PES on the PS2 I'm afraid. I bet there won't be a PES game on the PS2 next year. I'll be very surprised if there was.
