PS2 vs. PC

I've played both the PC and the PS2 versions of PES4 for a few weeks now and it seems to me that the games differ slightly. Maybe it's just my imagination but it seems that between releasing the the PS2 and PC versions KONAMI tweaked a a couple of things, namely, I find it easier to score from corners (i.e. headers) on the PC version, plus I find the PC AI a bit harder too. Anyone else in a position to comment?

Yep, I own both the PS2 and PC versions of the game. I got the PS2 version first and managed to master this, winning without too much effort on 6 star all the time. On the PC version I find it alot harder although couldn't tell you exactly what parts of it are more difficult, just seems alot harder all round. Btw, I'm using a PS2 controller on the PC so the controls are not hampering my performance.

Haven't played it on PS2, but i belive PC is capable for more "intelligent" (harder) AI as it's more powerful (PS2 = 300MHz 128 RAM?). And even though i haven't tried PS2 version, i would say PC version is better since it's (a lot) easier to edit.

PC PES4 seems and feels like an upgrade. If you can download that Wolf update so much the better as it deletes all the rubbish that comes with the game and replaces it with real teams etc. I've also played FIFA 05 on PC and it sucks by comparison, I mean really sucks. I can't believe when I see reviews saying FIFA is better than PES4. Maybe for a novice to football gaming it's OK as an intro, but if you're a seasoned player, forget FIFA.

In theory that is correct but in reality we're talking about a straight port from the PS2 version which doesn't add anything except online play - same old lack of transfers and use of PS2 buttons images. Don't expect too much as it isn't there.

I find PC version harder, I play PS2 on 5/6* and PC one on 3*. I think graphics look great on the PC version, and the speeds of the gmae are constant.
