But what do they use to edit the kits, and how do they extract them from the PS3 in order to edit / replace them? I'd love to know how the game knows which kit goes with which team when you install a new OF with kits.
When you want to edit a kit you have do do the following:
1. find the PNG you want to use (there are a lot of PNG kit makers on this forum you can find about anything) These PNG's are images of the sponsor, the logo and shirt brand and sometimes some striping (the things you cannot make with the in-game editor). you can add this to your kit in edit mode (see next steps)
2. Transfer you PNG to your PS3 (you can find more info on this on the forum if you don't know how to do this)
2. Go to edit mode, go to teams, and select the team you want to edit (You can only edit the kits from teams that aren't licensed)
3. Go to strip. Here you can edit all three kits (home away or goal keeper) striping and so on you can figure out yourself. after you've done this correctly you can add the png to complete the kit.
4. in the strip menu go to markings. look around here to edit your kit even more. To add the PNG you first have to set emblem OFF. and then choose chest logo, import data and then find the png you transferred to your PS3.
5. Now place it right and you will have a complete kit!
