Ok, here is the scenario:
Two users on the same PS3 playing ML.
They want to play against each other in Exhibition mode.
However, the PS3 does not allow for more than one user to be logged in at a time.
Is there any workaround for this?
So far, the only workaround that I have come up with is as follows:
User1 has saves up to "Master League Save 4" (or something similar).
User2 then has to save their ML to a position above this (so "Master League Save 5" in this example).
User2 then copies this latest save over to User1, which does not create a conflict because the only variation in the title of the save game is the number.
User1 starts the game and then both users can load their respective ML teams (because a slight bit of extra work was done).
Am I missing another option here?
If not, then I really wish more thought would have gone into profile management by Sony.
Also, Konami could have used a bit more development:
- Allowing (user-directed) variation in the title of game saves,
- Allowing to load saved games from other user profiles (though this may be restricted by Sony's overall profile management design),
- Allowing to load saved games from a USB drive (regardless of the title of the game save),
- Or any other reasonable solution.
