i am yet to play a match online cos wen i go to the lobby when i click on a online player to start a match against i get a message sayin
"an error has occured failed to connect with opponent"
has this happened any1 else?any1 any ideas on wat 2 do?thanks

the person is in match already, keep searchin, eventually u will find sum1 not in a match

i use a wireless connection.do i need 2 use a wired 1?

i used to use wireless but then i moved the router closer to the ps3 and used the ethernet cable i got with it and i had slightly better reception.

are you online now? its 11:15

I have had same problem when me and my mate tried to have a match against each other, for some reason it wouldn't let us connect!

i can connect to the internet on my ps3 no problem but i haven never been able 2 play games online.would that b due to my internet connection?

try a wired connection, shouldnt make a difference though.

the only thing i can think of is logging onto the router / modem from your pc and checking if there is a firewall or something blocking it?

me neither

erm in the instruction manual of ur modem there shud be an ip address for it (something like 182.198.44.120) or whatever.

if u write that in on the explorer bar where u type in websites then it should come up with a page for ur modem - see if u can do that
