Got mine 6 months ago. Very cool piece of equipment and will be even better after PES comes out for it.

Though I have spent more "gaming" time with the DS. Much better games at the moment.

I'm thinking of buying it.....But it cost like around $700+ Singapore Dollars roughly around £230 in my region (SE Asia)!! Tat's hell of a lot money to dig up! And it's only the console and 1 game. That's the problem here....there's not much customer services available.....n getting this kinda console is sUCh a luxury here. Might as well put my money on hold for PS3 or X-Box 360 instead!! Nevertheless, I will buy it someday!!

Ahhh yes ebay.......I haven't have any experiences in purchasing things on ebay.... (Yes I am outdated; like purchasing things where I can grasp the things in my hand) Not to say I WON'T want to try.....but I 'm just worried tat I won't get after-sale services when if god for sake sumthing happen to the PSP upon delivery! Ex: like being damaged! And the process of sending it back takes awhile and time consuming. But I thank you for ur advice DAVEfitz87......appreciate it! Until I have the confidence in purchasing things online then tat would be the time!

I'm still a bit in the dark about the downloads and whatnot regarding the PSP.

How do you get movies for it?
Can you download things?
Is there any free downloads?
Does it cost to browse the net and how do you do it?

Sorry for the overly novice questions, still deciding whether or not to purchase one of these beauties.

@ Alan Smith yes you can, you need to be near a wireless internet connection OR be near a WiFi point to do so.

@ Hypnotised

1. You can either buy the official UMD movies, or buy software to convert dvds onto your memory stick.

2. You can download music, movies, photos, and game updates (e.g new weaopons/tracks for wipeout) onto your psp via wireless or usb connection.

3. Yes, game updates/downloads are free.

4. No it does not cost to browse the net on psp. It works of the same connection as your broadband.

Cheers dave, still not fully understanding the net idea however..

How does it use your broadband? and wireless inernet, could this be like WAP off my cell phone for example?

I don't see how it doesnt cost. Sorry to be such a pest.

i really like the sound of the psp, and it looks sexy as sin too, but i just think its a bit too out of my price range (i only just bought a sony hd5 mp3 player which cost me nearly 200quid! its class btw, spanks the ipod) and the games all start at £35!!! you can buy ps2 games for less than that! and umd movies are a bit odd, as you can only play them on the psp, though i'm sure you can link it up to your tv to play it through that, i think i'd rather just buy the dvd!! i might get one in the future but only when the price goes down

I still don't understand the hype about this little console. £175 on a glorified gameboy...madness.
