Create a folder on your usb drive called EXPORT and then within that, create a new folder called PSV and then save the psv file in there and you will be able to transfer it to your PS3.

Let me know if it works.

Hmmm, it worked for me. Did you look under memory card utility on the PS3 main menu and then select your usb device from there?

It worked for me, however the option file refuses to load when I load up the game :(

Hi Mcdaddy i think thats because you probably used the .psv file for we2007 and not pes6 ?

And if you didn´t where did you find an ps3 option file for pes6 and not e2007??

Urgent please

Well the logo displayed was PES 6 but the description was WE2007 Option File.

So far I am unable to find a psv version for PES 6.

Me too Mcdaddy it s so annoying pfff but the problem is there is a way to convert from psv to max but not (the most important one) from max to psv but maybe they will find it soon i hope so because i would love to test pes6 on my ps3 but i won`t do it without a good option file because thats one of the reasons that pes is so good . The only possible way for now for transferring from ps2 to 3 is with a memory card adapter but i find it a waste of money for that one time i would use it

greetzzz and thx for ya quick answer

pes rules

I think the file goes PS3/EXPORT/PSV if you put that as your list of folders (in caps) it should work.

Easiest way to test it is to copy a save from the PS3 to a USB drive and use the folders that it makes.

I'm just looked for a PES6 option file in this format as I dont wanna wait for over 2 weeks for the Memory card adapter to come out

Getting no love from the rest of the forum, huh? They get pretty tight about not following protocol and looking in appropriate threads, but us ps3 fellas gotta stick together! I have Pategato's brilliant option file here in ps3 format (.psv).

http://rapidshare.com/files/23830644/BASLUS-2146457324B374F5054.PSV.html

The only changes I made were resetting abilities and special abilities to default for players (except those he created himself). I prefer playing with default settings.

Onto putting it on your ps3. In English (non-gamer talk), do as follows:

1. On your usb, create a folder called ps3
2. In the ps3 folder, create a folder called EXPORT
3. In the Export folder, create a folder called PSV
4. In the PSV folder, put this file.
5. When you display all on your USB on the ps3 menu, you will want to go follow this hierarchy (folder path) to the file.
6. Copy the file onto a new memory card. Assign the card to slot 1 prior to playing.
7. Enjoy this incredible file (again, by Pategato and a bunch of other great guys).

Hope this helps. It may say it's corrupt - just try it again until it doesn't cause it's not. This happens for some reason.

Oh yes, this is for Winning Eleven (USA) - sorry if that's not what you're looking for. If you go back to some old posts, these guys converted files for PES6... so look for Pategato v1 - I think they worked off a PES6 on that one.
