question about VIdeo and HDMI

hello i wanted from your guys experience to see if its worth buying an hdmi cable for the ps3 does it really make a difference in the graphics i have a high definition tv flat so its ok i just wanned to tknow and where could a et a good cheap but good cable hdmi or if there is anythign better then hdmi let me know

I saw one for under £1 on amazon. You can't go wrong for that. They can cost about £20.

I think it will make a differance. When I switch from HD to scart it looks like a PS2 game.

HDMI makes the game HD. The ps3 was made for HD and when viewing the ps3 in standard definition (SD), it won't look good at all. The difference is incredible with HDMI. Trust me. You can't explain the difference.
Oh, you cannot better HDMI because it can carry the best possible signal which is 1080P. You cannot better that.

It depends, what are you using now?

Here in North America there is HDMI and Component (RGB I think it's called in the UK), and they are essentially the same. I use HDMI though because it's easier to use (1 connection) carries sound, etc. It's apparently slightly better, but it's basically the same thing.

^Component carries the same signal as HDMI. It can carry a 1080p signal so component is basically the same as HDMI. HDMI has ONLY SLIGHTLY clearer image but this is shown when you have a tv that is over 37 inches. So basically they're the same.
