Can you do a Hocuss Pocus in PES 2013 like in FIFA?

How to do a McGeady spin?

How to do a Scoop Turn?

How to do a Fake Robana (Rabona) like in FIFA?

(PS. Just so you know, I'm an old school PES player, started out with International Super Star Soccer, switched to FIFA 10 untill now.
Now I'm back to PES and it feels great, but I need a bit of help with the above mentioned skills).

Thanks in advance!!

Hi there

welocome back to PES again

As for trickery and feint moves, GOTO Top menu---Training----PERFORMANCE training, there are some helpful cool moves there.
SPEND some time over there to PRACTISE, you will need them,
trust me on this one.

Also go check IN-game Manual.

Yes , PES 2013 is nice and worth missing your dinner playing it

Have not played FIFA 13 yet, so dont know much about those names of FIFA game moves

Hope it helped

Thanks for your reply optimistic. I did the performance training already, and memorized every skill move available from this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zoIfGaV9mo4 and the command list in game.

I know the McGeady spin, the scoop turn and the robana are in PES, but these tutorials don’t mention them…

146 post views and no skillers out there? Has PES become a game where people only pass, pass and shoot without doing skills / tricks?

I was gonna make a thread on this, how often do you players use skills like this? Using touch dribbling when you need close control in the face of a defender and in order to find a pass is mandatory, I also try using the two-touch move (right/left RS, forward LS) and moving the sticks the right way also does step overs. But that's about it, it seems like doing tricks takes too much concentration, it's not instinctive, and it's really hard to time correctly each time against higher difficulty CPU defenders. I mean, look at that video, I have barely watched it all, but the defenders are just standing there static.

EDIT I used to always use shot feint but they seem to have made it less effective in the new one

Hello there

For me, the above is very true, actually on TP LV or Super star LV I can not use well timed feint trickery moves, but maybe some other PES
masters can do that, dont have enough patience to practise them:erm:
COM defenders have magical mind reading abilities which needs KONAMI
to do sth about....like.... tone it down a bit.

Good luck to your games.

Totally agree - it's all part of their cheated scripting of the game.

The defenders dont make mistakes they just run along with you staying just close enough so they can steal the ball but not so lcose that you can fool them when they have committed themselves.

Every defender is the same whether their overall rating is 99 or 69 I rarely can beat players whilst dribbling unless not playing the CPU. Even something simple like just using your speed doesn't work because the CPU can deny their own rating and just keep up.

JUST GET RID OF CHEATING THEN THIS GAME WOULD BE AMAZING.

Sounds like FIFA to me at Legendary difficulty.

I find a bit of trickery helps on the wings on higher difficulty in order to beat the full back long enough to whip in a ball (usually low ball) - it seems if you hold R2 for touch dribbling and combine it with the RS you can do good feints/stepovers etc seems to work well. If I'm comfortably leading or against weaker sides I usually practice throwing these in even if there is a chance of mucking it up and losing the ball (when a pass would be safer), even if what you intended doesn't come off right usually some trick results from togging the RS/LS and you can make space

When I am directing RS to make a forward player make the run, the player on the ball often does stepovers at the same time which helps confuse the defender in front and either pass him or make the pass to the runner more effective
