Question on Editable 2D kits

i was thinking could it be possile to make editable kits like the ones the game already got. Instead of the editable kits made by konami maybe its possible for someone to make other templates lke nike, adidas, reeok etc.. which can be swaped with the konami ones and then be able to be edited in-game. just a thought sorry if its hard to understand and sorry if someone's already thought of this.
