Question on PES- Changing Names of Leagues/Teams?

I've never played PES before but i plan to buy 2009. Anyway, I see pictures of like the championship and epl, all the badges, etc. How does the changing of the team name/Badges/League names work? Is there simply an edit button or what.

I have an Xbox 360, would I need to buy anything else?

Final Question- Can you edit stadiums and there names?

yes you can edit all of that. There are alot of dedicated option file makers who put out their files to get your game updated with correct kits player names etc..

So basically there's an Xbox Live transfer thing, where you can choose from lists and download it? kind of like in College Hoops 2k8? Or do you have to buy something extra?

Basically, people edit their game through the in-game editor mode (where you can change player names, numbers, stats, appearance, team kits, flags, etc) and save.

That save (called Option File) is then transferred on the internet using a USB stick or other device.

You download an Option File, put it on your console and you have everything updated.
