Does anyone know where I can get a U.S. copy of Winning Eleven 6 in the UK; for the Gamecube.

For some starnge reason it dosen't seem to be available.

Also if anyone has a copy how does it measure up to the pro evolution on the PS2.

I have heard that it is more of a simulation game as a pose to the arcade version, PES2. I am also intregued into the winning eleven series. I have seen some goal replays of this game and it looks different to the PES series. I would like a copy also.

From what I have heard, it is more similar to PES2 than WE6:FE.

Winning eleven is what PES is called in Nippon. It is just branded as Pro Evolution for Europe.

Winning Eleven 7 is Pro evolution 3

Still does anyone own a copy of Winning Eleven 6 or 7 for the Game cube and where did you get it ?

Amazon won't ship outside of the US.

i have no exact loacation, sorry, i have just noticed on several replays that they have a different ball and names on the back of their shirts. Why is this and what version is this?

That would be WE6:FE.
Shirt names is standard.
Different ball is due to patch-makers creativity.
Notice the advertising boards too.

do US games work for european consoles? i want a copy of we6:fe, the american version, but will it work?

Nope

If you have a UK Gamecube you'd need to get The Freeloader or get the Cube chipped for it to play import games.

there is no WE6:FE American version........we were lucky to get WE6:I, which is a direct port of PES2.....lazy Konami didn't want to have to traslate FE or WE6, even though its NTSC, and Europe is PAL......
