Chingford is more North/North-East London as you can see &searchp=newsearch.srf&mapp=newmap.srf]here.
Harrow is North-West London. I think Harrow is easier to travel to.

Chingford is interestingly close to where the PES2 champ lives. Coincidinky? :p

Nifty, I'll try not to let you win by that much, not that I think that scoreline is even possible in a 30 minute match, let alone a ten minute one. :)

Basic rules:

Stick to the national team you chose (you have only one chance to change team but only before you've played any matches),
10 mins,
5*,
All players on red arrow form,
No memory cards or controllers allowed - you have to use the ones supplied.
Agree on the camera view with the opponent before each half.
And a few more obscure ones about making subs and stuff. More on the site itself.

Anyone thinking of joining the Edinburgh league?

I'm currently sitting 16th in the league, not too bad seeing there's 45 teams currently in it.

http://www.pesleague.co.uk/pes/league_chart.php?l=4

by the way there are some really impressive players out there so to all the late entrance be warned you'll need to play out your skins coz you'll need to make up points seeing the first lot got 3 points via the demo to start with, all points are hard earned

For a short time only we're accepting applications from players who wish to join the new league in Newcastle or one of the existing leagues in Harrow, Chingford, Birmingham, Liverpool, Edinburgh, Cardiff, Stevenage, Southend and Bath.
Bloody hell!!!!!! i live in Chingford. That's North east london to you lot. My jaw dropped on seeing that in the list, because chingford is only a small, sleepy suberb of london, not a full blown city like Birmingham, liverpool or Edinburgh. That must be a typo?

PS, anyone that says Chingford is in Essex will get a slap. ;)

You see, I know a bird who lives in Chingford, and she claims to be an Essex girl...

I know Chingford's just off the North Circular, and I've been to the Golf driving range there, which would suggest it's in London, as opposed to outside it.

I have no comment on that bird. ;)

it's not the golf range that's the indication that it's in London. It's the postcode: E4. E numbers are london.

Anyways, does anyone know the rules of these competitions?
eg:
1. What difficulty setting is the AI set to?
2. How long are the matches? Are there golden goals/pens?
3. Can players bring their own memory card data so that their formations and subs can be used they way they want?
4. Anything else i need to know?

(must get training for the tourney)

Am i right in assuming that all these players have beaten ML on 5 stars 3 times over? I'm still struggling with 3 stars!

4)?

I mentioned a few of the rules above.
No extra time or penalties.

Struggling on 3* isn't a good sign.... but it depends how you are when playing other people.

i only started on 5* yesterday :p been playing 4* since i got it.
Record on 5* with 4-5-1 is p6 w5 d0 L1 damn good i think. only conceded 3 goals & scored 9 :D.

By the way, do we play human opposition aswell as AI?

Edit: I thought chingford was in essex, coz my school (from essex) played them in a cup match... :D
