R2 is the key

I've read it elsewhere and its true. The r2 dribble maybe painfully slow, but it is incredibly effective for keeping possession and drawing fouls. slow the pace of the game right down, use short ground passes and slowly split the defence apart. I practically hold R2 down the whole time because it guarantees some degree of control.

That's what i've started to do, just beat classic france 2-0 as classic brazil on 6* using just R2 run.

You've also got to be careful when tackling obviously- I tend to mark very loosely and pick up interceptions instead. Having said all of this I just lost to Venezuela as Brazil so....

Also makes a difference when you press it, does different things, you can press it when you recieve the ball after you recieve it and before you recieve it, should make a difference.
I know a lot of people are saying its not as good as PES4 but its things like this that encourage you to think through every pass and movement, i think this adds a lot more depth to the game and encourages construction of movements as well as forcing you to find different was of beating the defences of different teams, and when you string a few passes together on max star even a tap in makes me hit the roof its a lot more rewarding.
