i wasn't sure which thread to put this in so i started a new one:

anyway, i had decided to leave pes till christmas as i had other commitments.

BUT! after watching the Newcastle Spurs game last night, and seeing Pavlyuchenko's header i have changed my mind.

the header its self was identical to the motion capture of the headers in pes 08, and once i saw it go in i just thought sod it, i'm getting it on the release date. i just want to get my hands on the game now.

have you guys seen something in a match that reminds you of something directly out of a pes match. maybe the Giggs goal in the F.A. cup against Arsenal or a corner being cleared only for Gerrard to smash it back in.

Strange reason for making you change your mind about buying PES on release day, but great thread nonetheless...

I suppose Adam Johnson's goal the other night for Boro against United reminded me a lot of goals I've scored on PES, where the defender heads it away and the attacker catches it on the volley from around 25 yards, firing it past the keeper into the corner.

Scored a goal that was identical to Gerrards goal vs West Ham in the FA Cup Final the other day on PES 2008.

I remember on the same week of Crouchs goal against Galatasaray, i also scored a goal that was near identical to it, with Peter Crouch aswell haha. Swung in from the right and an acrobatic bicycle kick into the bottom corner.

to be honest i think i would have got it on release day anyway, the emotion of the goal just added to the final decision. also, the transfers will be out of date the week after christmas. ok, you can transfer them yourself but i always find that one or more teams are really weakened after the transfer window, middlesbrough in pes 5 for example. they used youth players instead of new signings.
