I went for 'good.' PES3 is still my all time favourite. The pace of the matches were just superb, very fast and unpredictable.

Hard to tell at such an early time in its life for me. I can only get the full enjoyment of the game once all teams are edited/patched. So far the gameplay is very enjoyable and definetely realistic. Passes could certainly be a bit crisper however this installment focuses on the players with the passing stats to do this I think. The shooting seems fine to me no matter how many threads are open complaining about it.

My verdict: too early to tell but most probably will be the best, just by a little bit.

There is no doubt in my mind, that this is the best PES so far. I liked PES2 the most before this one, but after some real quality games I know now that this is the best. Pace of the whole game is spot on, enableing you to have a style of slow build up of fast frantic attaking. The biggest improvement for me is the intelligence of the computer. Now they are actually a challenge. In my first season in the ML with the retards I only won 2 games, drew 7 and lost 5. I went on a dramatic cup run in which everything i touched turned to gold. 11 goals in 5 games to win the cup. I only scored 7 goals in 14 in the league.

Anyway...bit off topic there - The game is class a good blend of realism and enjoyability.

The new pes is great. The shooting system is much improved than pes5 and the new animations in game are great. The play is more fluent now becuase of the less of those annoying niggling fouls. The best pes/we so far i feel.

Having played WE10 for 5 months straight and enjoyed every minute of it, goalies aside, I was a little put off by the passing at first. It did feel like the players were kicking a ball full of water around for the first few days.

Once this has passed and I got used to it I could appreciate that perhaps WE10 was a bit more ping-pong than it should be. From here, I began to pick up on the improvements.

- Goalies. Still susceptible at times but they have been smartened up considerably. Occasionally, you'll see a PES 6 keeper clutch the ball in mid air and fall to the ground. This didn't happen much, if at all, in WE10. Harder shots would be propelled to the nearest striker without fail. There's a greater chance of seeing a one-handed save in PES6 too.

- Goal variety. I'm playing a Serie A season with Inter ( can't start ML until editing is done... ) and haven't stumbled on identikit surefire goals.

- Better headers. A skilled player can actually bullet headers into the ground.

- Decent editing. Same as WE 10 but this is the best in the PES series. Most kits can be replicated to within 90 per cent of real life counterparts. With a max drive it's possible to edit a licensed kit so it means the game can never go out of date. For example, today I edited Bayern Munich and put them in the maroon CL kit and managed to stick a sponsor logo. It looks absolutely superb now.

- The 18 free slots. I'm loving it. Had a hard time choosing the teams and I've a lot of work ahead of me but I'm appreciating the space. Got the big German teams in, so the loss of the league hasn't been painful. With guys like Blue Scouse providing emblems, the free slots actually look better than La Liga.

Best Yet. I saw a goalie of mine hang onto the crossbar after a close, rising shot. Priceless. The editing is swish, thank god I never sold my PS2 when I got my 360. I'd literally be weeping if I didn't have the choice to swap it for the PS2 version.

I think PES 6 is the best i've played so far, none of the others have kept me playing for so long. I wasn't that interested in winning all the cups on the other games, but on this version I want to win everything!

It's better than pes 5 and is also better than we10 for it's more realistic game play.

I voted for \"Best PES/WE Ever\" basically because I think it is because I like it more than Pro Evolution Soccer 5 at the moment and I reckon I will play it more than that as well it is also a very addicitive game as well.

I've voted for "best PES" just because is the best game in the series after PES4 and PES3 (it's my opinion).

Fantastic gameplay and absolute addiction, i feel the same obsesion as when i discovered it on PS1, a loooooooong time ago.

I want to win every cup and play the hardest Master League ever.

I want to get home and play it!

Only had the game for a week... ask me again in 2 months!

You're right but the first impression on the 6 is great, isn't it? Of course that can change after playing it some more time, but the more i play the more i like it by now.
