Rate my squad

My ML game has been going for a few seasons for now with Man Utd on 5*. Just wondering what anyone thinks of my squad. It's got ridiculously big and impossibly to pick the starting eleven but I just can't stop! I play 3-4-3 by the way.

What starting 11 would any of you guys pick? I currently have something like a 4yr 100% league record and average 4 goals a game. Who else should I add to the squad?

u loser!!! there is no point in u playing on with this game as it poses no challenge to u! all u did was play the seasons on 1* have the transfer options all in ur favour and bobs ur uncle! we can all do that! plus coming on here to post that!what do u think we are gonna say, yea that is a shitty squad add some quality players in there!! go and play the game properly

Have you tried the Formation Auto-sort option? What kind of team does it pick for you?

Er...as stated I played the game through from the start on 5* and, by the way, with the standard transfer settings.I've just done it for a few seasons. I have played this game properly as you would like to put it. Perhaps I've gone on a little too long with it but I thought it would be a laugh to see how I could develop the squad. But that's my prerogative. Doesn't mean I don't have other games going or ML leagues (which I do) that are currently a bit more challenging. So sorry but I don't see the harm in trying to create a super squad from difficult beginnings so don't go calling me a loser unless you're just worried that it is, in fact, something that you can't do.

Yes admittedly it is easy but the challenge is in seeing how many goals I can rattle in and how long I can go unbeaten for.

But definitely I'm gonna take up your challenge mate (just to prove I'm not, as stated above a loser.)

By the way I just tried the auto sort...the formation stays the same with the starting XI becoming:

Isn't Beckham overrated in real-life anyway? Im all he can do is cross and hit free kicks. Apart from that he has little natural flair and ability (unlike figo for example) so i dont know why you are surprised.

Figo doesn't work anyway near as hard as Beckham. I believe Beckham is a very hard worker, but there is no stat. to show this in PES/ WE

I never find room for Beckham in my ML, I've bought him quite a few times and never managed to accomodate him. He's not fast, can't dribble well and the AI isn't smart enough to run ahead of him into the box so he can put in an early cross.

Are you playing PES? If so then try WE7:IJ, the AI runs are a bit better. Well a lot better than PES AI runs.

I would do, but it's a lot of hassle with all the PS2 Americanizing that needs doing, I'll just wait until PES4 and keep Figo and Joaquin on the right side of midfield until then!

It's not much hassel at all, get a slide card. Very simple and doesn't affect your warranty. It is fairly cheap at 30, then get the game from the net. It is worth it.

I usually use Beckham at RMF. His crosses and free kicks are great. Loads of assists and a great team player. I don't play him when his stamina is low or his fatigue gets high but after that, he is back in.

The Auto-sort function doesn't change the formation of your team - it justs sets the players who are best suited for that formation (supposedly). If you change the formation yourself and then try auto-sort again, it'll probably show you a different team lineup.

Is Dunant a growth player?

normally i prefer to try to create the original squad from the default team... seems more meaningful....

yea coz i cudnt do that! i have got the proper all star team, by buying the highest costing players, so most of the squad are classic players, its a damn good team, but damn boring!

Curious then that your first assumption was that I'd basically cheated. And as for boring? Now isn't that watching Spurs play?

well everyone has his way, its fun to have the best players on ur team, specially after a long waited relief from the default dumbass ML team lol well i have more than one ML team on my card. i just enjoy creatin different teams. a superstar team, best africans, best south americans, best europeans, and best asians, and a my last team got talented/cheaper players who can do the job right. well thats about it "D

gk - van der sar ( cheap or not i cant resist not buyin him ) / van viligeir or somethin cant remember his exact name(belgian)

df - hurtado(equador) / anderson(brazilian) / Foxe(australian) / Sorondo(Uruguaian) / gardner(english) / Metzelder(German)

dmf - Filipescu(romanian) / Poulsen(danish) / Bassegio(belgian)
rmf - Robinho(created player - new 18 yr older that plays in santos) / Kalou (french? hes in auxerre i think)
lmf - Kapo(auxerre too)
omf - Acuna(chile) / Meghni(french)
cf - Cruz(argentina) / Chevanton(uruguay) / Luiz fabiano(brazil) / Bazzani(sampdoria - created) / Tote(spanish) / Navia(chile i think)

and im playin as Fulham just to add realism into it i dont think it makes sense playin as juve or man utd in 2nd division.. comin up into the from the dark league into the celebz league would look more creative with a team like fulham or any other team who used to be in 2nd division, then start gettin money and buyin decent players and surprise the whole lot!
