i know it has been the issue in the past few years, but i have decided to keep moan about it!

happened when playing ML, my keeper faced 1 shot for the whole match, and conceded 1 goal from that ONLY SHOT. On the other hand, the opposition's keeper faced 20 shots, 13 on target, made 10 saves, only let 2 went in, pretty good right? guess what. At the end of the day, my keeper got rating of 6.0, and the opposition's keeper got 5.5. i just cannot believe it.

i am sure there are a few threads about this already but i just cant help to express my disappointment.

the rating system is particularly harsh on defenders. you allow a goal and you will be lucky to get a 6.0 no matter how many saves. but then again CPU gets stellar ratings. hm

Just don't take the ratings system too seriously, it's decent half the time, but as you say, it's quite inconsistent. Just use your own head and knowledge to appreciate the players who stand out.

whats the highest rating you have ever got? i think i've reached a 8.5 in pes 2009 when i scored about 7 goals and 2 assists in a game with one player.

shame konami created sth of no use...

i think i had 9.0 once in PES2009 with Rooney in ML. i cannot remember what i have done with him, but one thing i am sure is that he at least scored a hat-trick.

The worst part of this that bal relies on the rating system.

i was milan in my ML in pes 09 an one game i had a clean sheet borriello got 2 an i think a midfielder scored.then i bring ribery on in 75 min on right wing he goes on bout 3 runs for the time hes on no assists no goals in his short app time he comes off the pitch with a 8.0 ratin EHHHHHH!!!!!!! borriello 7.0 an both CB's 6.0 an fullbacks 5.5. wot the hell!!!!! im sure ratings go on player rep from real life. an my keeper never gets above a 6 ever.
