Reactions to the referee

I've read quite a few people saying that they would like some control over how a player reacts to a referees decision, eg, triangle to walk away, x to argue, o to get physical. However, as fun as this would be for the first few goes, it would soon be a case of just wanting to get on with the game, frustrated at yet another niggly foul. Plus, if the referee then reacted to the players reaction and, say, sent him off for a push on another player it wouldn't be worth it (other than the first few times - for the crack). I was wondering how gamers react themselves when frustrated. I know if its late in a game and i need a goal, ill hammer the x button to skip any cutscenes. Now, imagine if the game recognised this as a consequence of me losing my cool and caused my player to, say, aggresively grab the ball off the opposition to stop time wasting, tangling with them, bit of a scuffle. I'd like to see the PS2's "emotion engine" actually recognise my emotions through the complex medium of button bashing. Mite get on your tits after a few goes though!

Or, certain players could react differently in game, e.g. rooney doing his nut every five mins whilst henry just stands with his hands on his hips.

Your thoughts on my ramblings?

I like to see this feature in PES6, it will make you feel more reactive with the match atmosphere and express either your positive or negative feelings towards your opponent....wicked :)

theres a great game where you can get physical by pushing x...its called tekken...seriously i just want a good game of football without stupid additions like the horses heads in the shop or things like you just mentioned...id rather they concentrate on perfecting the game engine rather than that bull

The PS2's as good as dead. Why would they suddenly develop such a system for an irrelevant console?

PS2 is still alive, at least for 2 years generally to all PS2 users and for 1 year especially to PES fans. And if we suppose that it is PS2 last season, Konami can't ignore PS2 users who have made them reach such success.
Also who told you that they are going to add these animations to PS2? It may be all a matter of the new engine....

i think its an ok idea...but assign it on the circle, triangle, square buttons...so x would just skip it (just accept the refs decision)...or somethin like that...its pretty sad when you see cutscenes of players kinda gettin into a fight but nuthin would happen besides a yellow or a red...
